We spent a wornderful 11 days in this cosy resort. Greatly situated far away from the downtown noise, yet close enough for a nice 10 minute walk to the beach.

The rooms are clean and spacious with a great view of the town and distant sea through very large windows. Each has a small porch where you can enjoy the sunset. There is a nice garden, full of tropical plants, water spots and cascades. The restaurant offers both local and italian food. The breakfast is tasty, with a lot of fruit and delicious Italian coffee.

The hotel is ran by three Intalins who are always very helpful to arrange trips, motor bikes and anything you wish for.

Anyway, Paolo x2, Orpheo and all the team, thank you for all efforts, we enjoyed it!!!

This small but beautiful resort may be Italian owned but has a peaceful, tranquil Thai feel to it. The layout is fantastic with beautiful gardens, lots of very tasteful water features.

Attention to detail is very important to the owners and the result is very attractive. The rooms are separate chalet type buildings, arranged in such a way that ensures privacy to each occupant.

They are spacious rooms, furnished simply, but in a very attractive Thai style...buddhas, candles, vases, plenty of storage space, a very large bed, good airconditioning and a ceiling fan, plenty of light.

The bathroom had unusual pebble tiling that was a good feature and the shower was good (my only tiny critisism was that the floor got very wet as the drainage for the shower was in the centre of the room and it could take a while for the floor to dry - so it could be good for the management to provide a duck board to stand on near the basin unit)

We stayed for 7 nights, the breakfast was good, plenty of variety and served 8am to 1 pm.

The manager, Paulo Berlese, was so helpful, helping out with problems with our hire car, suggestions on places to visit and directing our day trip drivers to the resort!!

The resort is about a fifteen minute walk to the beach road, so I do suggest that you have some form of transport, but the peace and views at this resort is well worth it.

Construction of the swimming pool started a couple of days after we arrived (we were not notified of this beforehand), but it didn't really have any impact on our stay.

I think that when it is finished, it will offer that nice choice of "shall we go to the beach or laze around by the pool, enjoying the peace and tranquilty"

Thank you Paulo & Orfeo, for your help and hospitality, we had a wonderful stay!!

This is a hotel that we really can recomend. The hotel is on a hill and you have a great wiev over kata from there. If you dont want to walk 15-20 minutes to the beach you can borrow a bicycle from the hotel for free. The rooms have a nice design a its very clean and the breakfast is good and its opened untill 1 pm.
The staff is really helpfull and serviceminded. When we left they were buildning a pool wich is going to be great compliment.
We stayed for five days and we will come back.

Kind regards
Mickael and Helene from Sweden

We stayed 7 nights in a superior cottage. It was more than wonderful!
Room: very nice decorated (lovely details like buddhas, candles...).
Breakfast: possible till 1 a.m. so there is enough time to sleep late, no hurry to go to breakfast like in other hotels, lots of fruits, eggs, bread, marmalade, joghurt, croissants, biscuits, cheese, salami etc., fresh juice and very delicious espresso, cappuccino, latte, cafe au lait - whatever you like.
warm welcoming, very familiar atmosphere, quietness when having breakfast, wonderful view at Kata
We have been in a 5 star hotel on Bali (indonesia) three years ago - and if we have to rate Boomerang Village - it is definitely a 5 star hotel!
Thanks to all the staff. We had a wonderful time. If we return to Phuket in future, we will be your guests once more.

Keep it up!

Boomerang village is a nice new development. Accomodation is nice and clean, management are very helpful, good restaurant and interesting local wildlife as it is set on the hillside bordering the forest. Unfortunately there was no pool but this is currently being built. I think when the pool is finished this would be an Excellent instead of Above average resort.
