“Nice view.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

View and the Sea Eagles. Busy but a convenient top on the way to Patong. Quick stop, not much there.

“Great Stop When Touring Phuket”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Dropped by this viewpoint on our first day in Phuket as it is along the road that connects the beaches on the western side of the island. There are usually a lot of tourists in this place but it is nevertheless one of the best views you can get in the island. Definitely worth a visit!

“Fantastic view but avoid to visit there at sunset (too crowded)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

Phrompthep Cape is worth to go if you like to see fantastic view and taking photos of Phuket landmark with the sea and surrounding islands. You will see good scenery of sunset but I suggest going there before sunset (around 4.30 – 5.30pm) because after that there will be a lot of tourist & too crowded.

Going by yourself is taking a local bus to Naiharn pier & walk up to the hill around 2-3kilo or you can rent a motorbike. Hire local taxi is too expensive

“Great view from the Promthep Cape”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Phromthep Cape is located on the southern most part of the Phuket island , its a famous spot that you can see the sea ,and island surrounding like the Koh Rachas of Phuket. Its by far the perfect spot for you to take sunset pictures. The best time to visit is in the afternoon , but in most times this area was crowded by tourist bus ,motorbikes, and private cars. Here you can see the Lighthouse,a small maritime museum and its a nice background for photoshoot.Several times already we have visited the spot ,in the morning and in the afternoon, and its view still amazes us.Near within this area you can find souvenir shops ,drinks , and snacks.Driving here was a pleasure ,can enjoy the scenery along the way. We give this attraction a top rank and recommend this attraction to be visited.

“Sunset”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

Its a nice spot. You can easily spend an hour here and if in for photography then maybe a little more. We had a clear sky but just before the sunset we had clouds. Still got many great shots. There is crowd but not a noisy one.
