If you like big hotels, this hotel is not for you.
There are only 27 rooms and they are very spacious.
I stayed a smallest room, even though it was big enough.

The garden is tidy with good choice of plants giving real tropical paradise!

I suppose all rooms as well as at the restaurant and the pool location have the sea view which is so gorgeous.
In the room, they provide plenty of fruits, easy-listening music, and aroma oil and so on so on.
Their restaurant seems to have good reputation which you can bet on!

I love this hotel, because it is very quiet and you can enjoy the nature.I can write so many lines, but my pictures and videos might tell more than words.

I have stayed at Mom Tri's Villa Royale 3 times now and in my view the hotel is up there with legends like the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok. I posted a rave review after my December visit when I decided to book again for this October with my entire family, 14 in all. The ages ranged from 13 months old to 76 years old. We've just come back and we had the time of our lives. The staff made sure every room was perfect, every dinner was sublime, every breakfast was delicious (thankyou Sae for your double shot lattes!) we were spoilt rotten every day and loved it!
The food in the restaurant was excellent so good in fact we ate there most of the time after having some very dodgy experiences in Karong and Patong. It's been 10 months since my last visit and whilst I can't put my finger on exactly what it is there have been improvements in that time. I felt the property looked refreshed and the food has gone from excellent to sublime possibly a new chef. Mom Tri's is a property where you can tell they operate with a lot of heart their generosity spills over with service above expectation from housemaid to barman (love your work Oh and your mango daquiris). I couldn't recommend Mom Tri's Villa Royale highly enough.

I can only reiterate how wonderful Villa Royale is. We were there for 4 nights and loved it all the way. Take one of the suites, it's a little more expensive but definitely worth it. Ours was a wonderfully decorated living room, huge bedroom, study room and a great bathroom with all the details you could dream of. Toiletries were great, jasmin scented lotions, lemongrass shower gel, etc.

Staff is very helpful and pays a lot of attention to details, for instance, each night when we retired to the room after dinner, there were candles burning, flowers on the bed, etc. etc.... Just perfect for a romantic holiday.

And last but not least, the restaurant is fantastic. First, because it has an absolutely breathtaking view. Then, the food is delicious. And: the hotel has its own wine cellar and wone several prices for its selection. Also, try their bellinis, the best I have ever had, with fresh peach. I have been to the restaurant many times when staying at other hotels, it is always a hit. But make sure you book a table at least a day or two before!

One note of caution though... We booked an elefant tour through the hotel and while the actual tour was nice we were very annoyed that we were taken to the usual tourist trap jewellery factory on our way home. We refused to go in and had to wait over half an hour for the trip to continue. Definitely NOT what we were asking and paying for.

My husband and I just returned from 8 night-7 day stay at Mom Tri's Villa Royale on Kata Noi. One word describes the experience - Heavenly! This review is long, but I want to convey all the things that made this vacation the best we have ever had.

The Villa Royale property is set on the cliffs/hillside overlooking Kata Noi beach and the Andaman Sea - Turquoise and azure crystal clear blue water, white sand beach and waves crashing into the rock cliffs along the sides of the cove. The property is lush and tropical. The architect, Mom Tri, has done an extraordinary job of designing a luxury hotel that achieves a perfect balance of nature and accomodations that feels much larger than the actual size of the property. There are two freshwater pools and one seawater pool, all overlooking the ocean. There are many beautifully terraced decks with pool loungers and umbrellas, all served by the Pool Bar for lite meals and beverages. The multi-terraced restaurant has stunning views of the ocean, white linen service, outstanding menu and food and a tremendous wine cellar. The restaurant bar is perfect for evening cocktails to watch the sunset and listen to the live piano music.

We stayed in one of the beach villas - a luxurious, spacious room, Thai decor, king size bed with silk linens, sitting room with two sofas, large bath with garden tub and separate shower, private balcony with daybed and table, minibar-refrigerator, tea/coffee service, TV and stereo system, two closets with robes & slippers. We walked into the room to the smooth sounds of lite jazz and the aroma of fresh flowers and lavender oil. Our room was near the 'top' of the property on the third floor of one of the two buildings housing the beach villa rooms with an amazing view of the beach and ocean. There were fresh flowers every day, turndown service at nite with orchids adorning the bed and pillows. Each evening, there was a different 'sweet treat' --- coffee cake, cookies, pastry, waiting in our room.

The entire staff was wonderful and caring, eager to cater to all our needs. Reception was gracious with welcoming drinks on arrival, help in booking excursions and arranging transportation. Restaurant & bar staff are amazing - so friendly and professional - top notch service in all respects. The spa staff and services are extraordinary, truly offering outstanding service in a lovely spa facility and environment. The spa's welcoming cold 'tea' and hot tea/fruit snack at the end of the spa service was a lovely touch. Even the housekeeping staff and the grounds staff were always ready with a "Sawatdee" greeting and the famous Thai Smile.

A few examples of this extraordinary service & hospitality: (1) I happened to mention to K' Sae during breakfast that it was my husband's birthday. After dinner that evening, we returned to our room and within ten minutes, one of the staff delivered to our room a small chocolate birthday cake; (2) after the first night, K' Lynn in reception asked how our first night stay was - I indicated that it was wonderful, but the bed was a bit firm for our taste (as most beds in Asia are). When we returned to our room that evening, housekeeping had put an extra-thick mattress pad on our bed to make it softer; (3) After an all day excursion, we returned to the hotel hungry and tired. We ordered Room service and instead of bringing all the food at one time, the waiter K' Oh delivered each course individually, setting up the table in the room and allowing 10-20 minutes between courses for us to enjoy our delicious meal.

We would like to thank everyone at Mom Tri's Villa Royale for making our vacation one to remember. We will definately be back and recommend to all our friends.
