Stayed for 3nts first week of May.
Con's: (will list these first as they far outweigh the pro's).
Bed was rock hard (similar to a floor) and hurt my back, shoulders, hips and knees. Have never felt anything like it. Bed was terribly squeeky too, the noise would wake me up when I rolled over.
Room was dark, plants overgrown and dark tint on glass doors didnt allow much light in and the electric lighting was insufficent.
Interconnectiong room shared with a family we did not know with small kids and a baby. This door let all the noise from them in and we were woken in the middle of the night many times. Also made us more concious of the noise we made as we didnt want to wake their kids. When you book here make sure you dont get one of these rooms unless you need it.
Breakfast was terrible. I only dared to venture as far as the croissants (tasted/smelled off) and toast (stale).
House Keeping did not do a job up to basic standards. They yelled a lot, even though we were at the back of the resort it was very noisy still due to the housekeeping staff.
Housekeeping also dont seem to understand that the 'do not disturb' sign means just that and on numerous occasions knocked on our door when we were napping, their reason "just to see if we were in the room". This made me feel quite unsafe, almost like they would check our room (our stuff) out if we were not in there.
Pro's:
Kata is lovely and hotel is in good location.
Front reception girls were so lovely and the only staff there to really give you that nice warm thai welcome.
Pool was nice and clean.

Wouldnt stay here again. Found much better accommodation for half the price in Patong.
