i hav been there for a week, the room and the breakfast was ok , but you can not sleep with the aircondi on, too much noisy / the tv doesnt work / till 3pm the room not done yet / my plate with some rest of food was in the room the hole day eaten by insect i had to take it my self to the reception after this incident they stole my money......
i left my money in the safe, they took 120 pound, and a gold chain , i called the police and they said that a prostitute had my keys and came to take the money. i have been there with my wife and daugther, how can i bring a prostitute and give her my safe keys with 800 pounds in it!!!
there is plainty of nice hotel for the same price

I usually stay at places i'd call "tourist" class, or two star hotels. You can find better places for this price. The hotel was dirty. I took the stairs daily because one elevator was out of order my entire stay and I couldn't stand to wait. The stairs are very dirty. My room was also dirty. Shower curtain covered in mold. These plastic shower liners are only $2USD at Target. I'm sure they could afford new ones. The buffett is horrible. I did eat in the restaurant in the evening once. Wait staff nice and the made-to-order food was good and priced well. The front desk staff indifferent to put it nicely. Location is far from beach. I would not stay at this hotel of other properties owned by this company. Music is loud from local bars, but I expected that. No problem there. It gets quiet at 0200.
I booked a car to the airport through the tour desk in the lobby. The regular attendant there was not working, one of their drivers was manning the desk. He was most helpful and polite. The driver/car showed up right on time, 0300! for a safe, ontime arrival at the airport.

Excellent budget price hotel about 5 to 10 minutes walk away from Beach Road and Soi 7 and 8 (both sois are buzzing with revelers from early evening onwards). Hotel rooms basic and plumbing not in 21st century, but what the heck bedrooms are used to keep clothes and sleep. I have stayed there twice in the this year (2006) and plan to do so again in October 2006.

For 15 bucks a might you can put up with stained sheets, your room not being ready at 3:30 p.m. (bad smells and plates of food lying around), and a mediocre breakfast buffet.

What you can't put up with is the surly unprofessional staff. In fact the man behind the counter in the evening was extremely rude and unhelpful. The girls on the dayshift were merely sulky and bored.

Avoid at all costs.
