“Best in Pattaya!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

I have only good things to say about this hotel, that I would claim is #1 in Pattaya!

It has very beautiful landscaping, and gives the impression that you are staying in a tropical forrest!
The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety with food from every part of the world. Very well cooked and tasty. Marvelous service from the staff. They make you feel important and takes care of everything that you desire.

The pool is OUTSTANDING and very big, so it is not crowded! beautiful scenery around the pool, the sunbeds are also comfortable.

The personell is very friendly, they make you feel like their guest, not just a paying customer.

The rooms are very fresh and has the perfect space. The bathrooms are very well maintained and well cleaned, I find that very important for a pleasant stay.

It has very good location, just 5 steps from the restaurant is walking street!

A very big + is that the aircondition stays on even when you remove the card, so you have a pleasant temperature when you come back.

This hotel really feels lika a safe haven in a stressful city. This is a good place to relax. 5 stars from me!

Room Tip: Try to get a room by the pool, then you wake up in paradise!

Pattaya and Bangkok from 17-06-2013 to 24-06-2013.
Flght : JET Airways. Would not recommend . Look for Thai airways Or Bangkok Airways. Jet airlines use is same Planes which they have for Domestic route. They do not provide basic Blanket and pillow. They just distribute 10 of them and then have standard answer, “temp will be adjusted”. You have to ask twice or thrice for water or another glass of Juice. Food is Typically substandard specially VEG with only 1 roti. After paying 23,000/- you definitely do not expect this from JET.
Reached Pattaya on 17 June,’2013 along with my Wife and Daughter, checked in at HOTEL SIAM BAYSHORE, Located in Pattaya’s Cholburi Area, Walking Street and Bali-Hai beach are stone throw away from Siam Bayshore Resort. Infact walk out of rear gate you are on Walking Street and by crossing the street you are on Bali Hai Beach. Check in and check out procedure was very Smooth. Welcome Drinks and thai sweet were really good. On arrival Nice smiling and attentive staff take care of your Luggage and show you your room and make sure you are well settled in the room.
Rooms at Siam Bayshore are big with Balcony. Please do not open the balcony doors at night as insects might snik as surrounding is full of Greenery. In room you have cable TV, a tea/coffee maker and a minibar. Bathroom come with a bathtub and a hairdryer. Only draw back for Family is door of bathroom is of glass and have no lock or latch from inside. You get 2 bottle of water complimentary each day. Staff is very polite and helpful. Language is big problem as hardly people speaks English. Wi Fi is free only at Lobby and in room it is chargeable which is very expensive. They have well spread Breakfast at the restaurant. Swimming pool is big and well maintained. Over all good time and would recommend this Hotel for stay in Pattaya.
There is SUBWAY outlet where one can get Veggie Delite if you are Pure Veg. Para sailing ( Bhat 500 per person) is must and get a dip option. Under water Walk ( Bhat 1200) is good experience but water is not clear. Indian Veg Food at Coral Island is simple but taste very good like home food. At Pattaya Alcazar show is worth watching. Take a walk at Beach Road and you get many option of Indian Restaurant. Get some US $ Exchange hear after checking the best Forex rate as you have many exchange on Beach Road. I found that Pattaya gives you best exchange rate than Bangkok. Here Indian restaurants charges Vat and Service Charge on over all food bill.

Special Thanks to tour Escorts Mr. POP, Mr. Prachee, Driver Mr. Hang from M/s. Chin Tour Co Ltd for wonderful service. These people are very Professional, Punctual and Friendly. All our Hotels Booking and Sight Seeing were done with complete ease and as promised. Ms. Wah Managing Director of Company was very helpful even though we only spoke via Phone but she was very co-operative.

Very nice hotel, good location, lots of greenery, lovely pool.
I stayed with my wife in June for about 5 days. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Location is good, being directly on the walking street was very convenient to me. One will have to walk about 500 metre to reach the main pattaya beach. But since the water on the beach was not very clean so I only went only once on the beach. Most of the other time I preferred the hotel's pool. It was good to enjoy playing in the pool with the balls provided by the hotel in the pool and then enjoy drinks at the same time served by the bar and restaurant by the pool.
Regarding the food I can't write much as I did not have my food in their restaurants as my wife was veg and they didn't have much option to choose from. I usually went to the Indian restaurant next to the hotel.
The Mixx disc is also next to the hotel, so one doesn't need to walk long for the same.
The only reason that I have given a 4 star is coz of the veg food. Else it's a wonderful hotel and I shall be staying here only when I travel next time.

Arriving at Siam Bayshore Spa & Resort feels little like coming in the kitchen way! You ride in from the backside of the hotel until arriving at the "front". It is no big scenery entering you would like at a Resort & Spa like Siam Bayshore is wanting to be!

Well....you arrived and are welcomed by plenty of nice and attending staff that takes your bag and shows you the way to the lobby desk. Quick check in, please sit down for a minute, a welcome drink (non tasty) and some coconut jelly (little more tasty) together with some cake (air), you are showed to you room.

Rooms are ok, a little dark but overall reach up to the standard it supposes.

I booked through their own homepage, which according to webpage would include breakfast and free internet but as it turned up was not. Hotel manager at lobby excused that and did not charge me...........well done out of a bad situation.

Internet speed really good, breakfast superb with too much to choose from. Travel this time of year means that only pool option is the one between the room complexes, which is a nice pool anyway, the pool facing the sea is closed.

Room cleaning after first day was lacking some pieces, on the other hand we did not offer them to clean until after 2pm so......maybe they were eager to go home?!

Overall a good stay for a decent price, two nights, two persons 6400 Baht. I would definitely come back.

Last week week we have been to this property with family and friends booking 25 rooms .had a very nice holiday .Hotel location is very good ,but their rooms needs upgradation and main concern is they have lots of lizards in the rooms .We were stayed for 3 days everyday we had to call housekeeping parson midnight to remove the lizards from the rooms and one late night when we came in the room surprisingly the small lizards were on the bed.we called the housekeeping in the night they took all the efforts and remove 2 lizards but even though we asked them to spray the mosquito repellent in the room.
They have very good greenery but it is not at all manicured properly their are lots of insects and when you walk down the open green area there is lots of insects making different sound.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for your feedback here on Tripadvisor.

We are sorry to know that you did not enjoy your stay the same way as many other guests before.

The resort is integrated into 20acres of lush tropical garden, which is a kind of a green zone, a real oasis in bustling Pattaya. With it comes automatically a mixed flora and fauna which cannot be found in other hotels where cement and steel are the main components, without any "green breeze".

We promise to have a look into your comments and see what can be done but will not cut down on the green atmosphere the resort is famous for.

We hope to welcome you, your friends and your family back again and wish you until then all the best.

kind regards,

YOUR Siam Bayshore

We have been at the Siam Bayshore in Pattaya as our second stop of our honeymoon in Thailand. We checked in on the 7th and checked out on the 10th.
Upon arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink. A porter took our luggage to the room and showed us the facilities. The room was nice. Nice the bed, nice the bathroom and its amenities. The only bad side was the noise. First of all, in the room there was a real fridge in place of a more suitable minibar fridge. The fridge used to make a lot of noise and we had to switch if off during our presence in the room. It's common in Thailand, as we have found out, that rooms are equipped with a real fridge so this cannot be considered a shortcoming of the hotel. Another source of noise was the hotel ventilation system. We had to call mainteinance twice, since the problem seemed to be a fan just out of our room which had to be switched off from a panel in the corridor. Noise also used to come from the fountain they have in the central garden, which is switched off at night. While the sound of the water might be pleasant, having it for almost the whole day in your ears might be frustrating - expecially if you want to take a nap in the afternoon.
The breakfast was very good. There was plenty of choice and the milk was fantastic! Tasty and creamy, something apparently common in Thailand. The restaurant was so and so. Well, we tried it only the first night and my wife had her plate brought twice since at first the meat which was supposed to be in the soup well...was not there... The service had a lot to be desired. I asked for some bread to be consumed with my meal but I waited and waited and waited...that it came when my meal was already finished (it was getting cold); the wine also... I asked for white wine, they brought me red wine. We asked for some butter... three times... Maybe, it was just an unfortunate night.
The location was perfect. Just on the shopping street. And very close to the sea. The swimming pool was nice.
They provide you with towels to be taken with you for your day trip to the islands. Ask the reception.
Internet in the room is not free, but this is very common in Thailand. Anyway, in front of the reception there is a lounge where you can get a passcode to be used there; it is not mandatory that you consume something (at least, for the period we were there).
The resort is huge and we had to walk a lot from the reception to our room. During the pathway we might smell some strange odours coming out from a puddle of green and stale water.
We also had a lot of ants in the safety box, I don't know why.
The transportation to the airport is expensive and I do not reccomend it. A normal taxi charges you 900 baht; they asked us 1800 baht, the double, which they corrected to 1500 once we made present that the average price was between 900 and 1200. Why we chose their service, then? Because we were not able to find the regular taxi boxes and because we did not trust the street taxis (who knows them and if they do late). Please, get informed before from where to book a regular taxi to the airport.

Overall, this has been our experience:

Pros:

1. great location
2. nice room
3. great breakfast
4. internet in the lounge

Cons:

1. freaky dinner service the first night we were there
2. no free internet in the rooms
3. expensive transport service to and from the airport

I don't know if I would come back here again...

The only Resort that I found which is huge (10 min walk to the lobby and reception from main gate) and is tucked away from the Chaos and clutter of Pattaya. I loved the resort but hated Pattaya. We stayed only for a night and was glad to have chosen this resort.

It is in South Pattaya which gives you an easy access to and from Bangkok. You can get a tuktuk to get to other places in North and Central Pattaya (15 mins). Lots of dining and travel services and min marts around the area. Behind the resort is accessible to the beach (2 mins walk) and the pier (5 minutes walk). There is also a walking street at the back side of the hotel and has starbucks and few disco places and other nightlife options.

Their swimming pool is amazing with a huge water slide and jacuzzi and the entire resort is very green and lots of open gardens and trees around. You will never realize you are in Pattaya unless you step out to the main street. This served our purpose to have a cosy holiday with a wild nightlife.

The rooms were a bit old fashioned though huge, but I would prefer the pool side rooms, rather than staying in the main building above the reception.

Breakfast place and lobby is very appealing. The breakfast was also very good and a wide spread. The smiling faces made it even better and was glad to have chosen this hotel rather than staying in a high rise building hotel.

Total thumbs up!!
