Stayed for 2 nights from 12 to 14 Dec with my family. Relatively old hotel. First impression looks ok but when I entered the room, it changed. I had to open the balcony to air it as there was stale smell. Only bottled water provided, no hot water flask, no coffee and tea. Had to call housekeeping to ask for hot water. Like me, a lot of tourist use this hotel to access the coral island and beach at Pattaya, hence the balcony has string provided for you to hang and dry your wet clothing. Breakfast was average with slightly more variety than P2 Boutique that I had stayed in other nights. Free wifi is available only at the lobby.
For those who wants to shop for clothes, bags, accessories and souvenirs, there is a night market that sells these. Walk out to main road from hotel and turn to your left. It's a short 5mins walk after the street of pubs. There is one money changer inside the market that offers good rate. Those who prefers better quality or branded stuffs, Central shopping is directly opposite the hotel. The seafood price is quite reasonable although I did not try them.
What puts me off was there are bed bugs which I discovered only on the 2nd night. Although I only saw 3, it was enough to keep me away from the bed. My wife and I had to sleep on the chairs instead. Worst still, the water was brownish when we woke up the next day. Had to use mineral water to wash up. When I spoke to the counter staff, one of them told me there are bed bugs at all level, depends on which room. As for the water, something happened outside which caused it. However she did not elaborate further. One tip for traveller is that you should deposit your key at the counter every time you leave the hotel because there is a penalty of 3500 baht if you lose it. Show them the key coupon with your room number when you return and they will hand you your key. Be safe than sorry. Overall it was not a good stay for us. Will not consider this hotel again.
