this hotel is a big property.. quite famous in Pattaya. We reached Pattaya from Bangkok and checked in the hotel. you have to walk down few steps from main road to the hotel entrance. The lobby is big and reception also quite big, but the ladies at the reception, I found them a lil rude. they'll ask you to deposit 1000 Baht at the reception for security against use of Minibar. we told them that we dont need it and they can take out there minibar things, but they just want us to deposit the amount and we did that. the room was spacious and a balcony. but the bathroom fittings were ages old. the washbasin was not working functionally, after complaining bout the same a housekeeping girl came to fix that, which was so rude and told us it will function but we need to flush the water out using the pump manually. obviously we were not happy with that. I don't know why that girl was not happy. Anyways, we ignored this. and yes, there's no free internet provided. we traveled to other cities of Thailand also, but even the budget hotels provide free internet service to the guests, but here, there's none and the charges are also pretty high.
Breakfast was average and same on all days. not much choices for vegetarians like me. hotel's location is nice, it's on the 2nd Pattaya road, which is 1 road away from beach, but close enough. the Ripley's believe it or not is in front of the hotel. Overall, the stay was good, could be better if the staff behaves in a more polite and courteous way and of course breakfast menu needs to be improved.
