If you are animal fan, this is the place where you ought to visit. Beautiful scenery and really beautiful elephants. One can take elephant safari and can see elephant show. Very beautiful and elegant.

“ELEPHANTS!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

How insane! I have ALWAYS wanted to ride an elephant.
Shuttle pick up.
Payed 1,600 per pax (300 more then the hotel advertised)
Sat on a saddle type of thing on the back of the elephant while a guide sat right on its head.
Walked around slowly for an hour, going through a little forest (right next to the road with buildings always in sight) as well as through a man made lake.

The guides get off and let you take a turn riding right on the elephants head which was great. He will take your phone and take pictures from the ground. Be warned, it is at this point they will start aggressively joking for money. They will also make a lot of comments that make you feel like a stupid tourist for being excited about the elephants.

Tips: ignore the guides, have fun and enjoy the elephants. I really hope that the elephants are well taken care of, they seemed agreeable.

“Great trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

The staff were excellent and we done the hours trek which was just enough for us. The elephants are well looked after and the trek is varied. You get the chance to buy a picture for 400 BHT which is of good quality and a great video for 1000 BHT.

“elephantastic!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

We went on an hour trek, (well along the road anyway) on an elephant sitting in a basket seat, we trundled along, occasionally the elephants would stop for some refreshment which was either the bananas you were carrying or a branch off a tree on the roadside!! I wasn't too impressed with the metal spike on a wooden handle that the handler would occasionally use on the elephant. we also discovered that our elephant didn't like Land rovers or Geese as we met both of these, overall a good experience with a photo and a DVD to take home at the end which was only 1,400 baht.

The guides were very good and informative about local vegetation. The elephants were very safe and the lunch was lovely.
