This is the sister restaurant to the one in Pattaya and the food is every bit as good. On the outside of the complex facing the Hannaman statue with parking in the road outside. We went there for a breakfast/brunch with several friends. They offer a whole range of foods, both Western and Thai.
I had the large English breakfast and it was great:- 2 eggs, any style (I had fried and a friend had poached), 2 English type sausages, 2 rashers of Wiltshire bacon, baked beans, mushrooms, tinned tomato, fried bread and fried potatoes plus slice of toast with butter and marmalade. It was very well presented on the plate and tasted every bit as good as it looked. Matched both of the breakfasts of this type that I have eaten elsewhere, and all for 190 baht.
Two others had the fish and chips (245 baht) and part way through their meal the waitress came over and apologised for the size of the fish as they thought they were small and they had cooked some more for them. When it came it was a large piece and they offered it to the rest of us. I sampled it as I have had fish and chips in the other one and it was still to the same standard...and the chips were good as well.
If you want to eat there for an evening they have a range of starters, 21 main meals including cottage pie and a selection of desserts that has home made gread and butter pudding if you are feeling nostalgic. If you have a Thai partner, he/she has a choice of 35 items, all the usual ones.
They also offer a range of soft drinks, wines and beers at reasonable prices.
Service was very good and obliging.
