“yet another visit”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

we had a bad experience here 3 yrs ago but decided to give it another shot.

very quiet this year and the price of drinks is far too high.....the wine is MEASURED and poured int wine glasses at a cost of 213 bht per 125 mls for a nothing special wine ..approx 5.40 euros

the staff had little to do and spent all their time horsing around.

we didn't have a meal due to the cost of the drink......VERY DISAPPOINTING

the thais have to realise that not all foreigners are awash with money

“Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

We ate and drank at Gullivers a few times recently and the food was to a good standard and good value compared to UK prices,It is air conditioned so you can get out of the heat or dine on the terrace outside,Prices are not as good as previously but that is mostly down to a weak pound .There is free internet and sunday papers to read whilst you chill out

“A tourist trap joke”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013 via mobile

Me and my friends haven't visited the place since 2008 when it was popular with expats and young professionals. We decided to revisit one of our favourite watering holes - the furnishings, service and music have remained the same. Good standard and service.
But they have kicked up the price and made potions smaller. A pitcher of Heineken is barely enough for 4 glasses. An Erdinger is offered at 160 baht roughly but comes in a 300ml bottle - any self-respecting German would be offended on the spot. The cocktails came in wee glasses. It was embarrassing, nothing wrong with price but at least give us cocktails that are more than 2 sips and gone. Who makes a Long Island Ice Tea in a highballer glass? (crush ice gives the impression that your drink is full of drink but actually it's just frozen water) For what we paid and got - I would have been happier if I got muged in the bathroom.
However, the burgers were nice but poor value. Fries were cheap and nasty - at least pretend you want us to have a good time. And the vegetarian menu - can you offer something not battered and deep fried. Not to sound unbalanced I have to admit its one of the few family friendly places in a family friendly area in Pattaya. But it's become a over rated wallet stealing establishment in Pattaya - which breaks my heart a little bit.

As for getting proper cocktail - recommend Matra just up the road, similar price but at least they give you a real drink.
