lovely hotel with a semi private beach.the property is slightly away from patayya city but a short taxi ride will get you there
the staff are accommodating and the clerk who checked us in went out of her way to ensure we were made to feel welcome (her name Annaporna)
the rooms are large ,spacious and comfortable,
the hotel provides more than enough drinking water and toiletries and in this regard they cannot be faltered,
however what was disconcerting was the exorbitant rates levied by the hotel for its taxi service into town.
it is my submission that a hotel of this size and standing should offer a free shuttle to patayya city which is a short distance away,
also the hiring costs for sporting equipment is ridiculous
it appeared that the staff (bellhops, tourist advice desk) all seem to be running their own businesses on the side with independent operators and are unable to give tourists advice unless they benefit monetarily from the rendition of such advise
that having been said the hotel overlooks the ocean and even has a lift to the beach
the staff donot tell you of the little village a short stroll from the beach
as you take the lift down to breezio restaurant, exit the lift and walk along the beach towards where the traders are operating you will find a staicase that takes to all the way up to the village where there are a host of shops and massage parlours and other eateries
if one is taking a taxi to town then ensure that you negotiate with the taxi ( we were being charged about 125 baht for a one way trip )

Room Tip: sea facing rooms are a must

Royal Cliff. Pattaya.
10 years if we go to Pattaya , then stay only in hotel of Royal Cliff Group.
Why ? Because it is a wonderful hotel and because despite the fact that the Royal Cliff is located in Pattaya , this is not Pattaya. This Royal Cliff.
We have just returned from the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel , where we lived for two weeks.
This is not the most expensive hotel of the group. At the same time he is also doing well
The room we had a Mini-suite Plus with balcony overlooking the Gulf of Siam . Great and beautiful room with well-designed layout . New furniture and sanitary ware. Timely and quality cleaning . Every day in the room they bring free water (it’s very important at 30 - degree heat ) and tea and coffee. Among the TV channels available four Russian channels. Many shampoos and other toiletries.
I am very surprised that someone is not satisfied with the cleaning in the rooms and the grounds. We have no such claims. Only gratitude.
Advantage of the hotel is that it is not at the beach in central Pattaya . It has its own beach. And near the hotel beach is Cozy Beach , where you can taste all the flavors of local exotics.
The hotel has big, beautiful and well-kept grounds . Lots of pools with Jacuzzi , including . As it should be a 5 * hotel available staff at the pool area. Change of beach towels by the pool or in the room. There are not only sunbeds, but “shells” equipped with protection from the sun, which create some privacy. Free sunbeds are always available.
By sea you can down the stairs or ride down the elevator . Sunbeds on the beach are always available as well.
Free wi-fi works greate at the sea and the pool.
The hotel has a gym and a sauna , which are located in a separate area with very beautiful grounds and pools. There you can walk ( about 500 meters) , or get on shuttle bus.
With food at the hotel everything is OK . Say good breakfast - to say nothing. Breakfast is GREAT. Large selection of dishes , fruits, vegetables and fresh juices . All very tasty . apart from the standard coffee and tea can be ordered free espresso and cappuccino.
Lots of restaurants . Prices, of course, a bit more expensive than in the city. But ... necessary to drive to the city , which also requires money costs.
Separately, I note the restaurant Breezeo, which is located right on the shore of the Gulf of Thailand . What could be better than romantic dinner at sunset!
The staff in the vast majority can explain in English .
Especially for Russian tourists , there are two Russian girls ( guest- relations ) who will always help .
Special thanks for the management of the hotel that did not forget to congratulate my wife on her birthday. It was very nice to hear performed by two Thai song Happy Birthday To You, and also get a cake , fruits and orchid with a greeting card .
I would like to note the presence in the hotel shuttle bus that runs between the lobby and the main gate. There you can take a tuk-tuk or taxi and head into the center of Pattaya .
By the way, as the hotel management wishes, I can advise to reduce the price on shuttle bus to Pattaya to 50 - 75 baht In this case the shuttle bus should run on time . The bus should have the final stop Mike shopping Center or Central Festival, for example. Return shuttle bus should also run on time . It will be popular with tourists and will be beneficial not only for tourists , but also the hotel . Now shuttle bus from the hotel costs 100 baht for 1 person . Reach the center of a tuk-tuk with two or three persons can be cheaper. It is clear that tuk-tuk is just tuk-tuk and it is not comfortable , air-conditioned Mini Bus .
In conclusion I want to say once again many thanks to the management and support staff for our wonderful recreation.
Royal Cliff - it is the place where you want to return again and again.

This was the 2nd time that I stayed at this hotel. I am still impressed by the location, the amenities, comfort, cleanliness and hospitality afforded by the hotel and its staff.I would like to extend a special thanks to the new General Manager, Mr Antonello Passa who made my family's stay a memorable one. I would like to mention that one of the staff,Somchai,went the extra mile to serve us and was impressive. I have no doubt that Mr Passa has the right attributes to take this Group of Hotels to new heights. Well done!

Great view of the ocean from the balcony. Room is spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately very few English speaking Thai nationals. Ordered room service by being physically down at the restaurant but it never came! When we clarify with them the language was the main barrier! Hope they have gone for English lessons! Nonetheless they were apologetic and eventually we had our food, albeit much later by almost one and a half hours!

Room Tip: Try asking for a higher storey facing the ocean. The view is great!

It's probably the best hotel that I have ever been to. The location, the pool, the beach surpassed my expectation. However, I'd rather comment on the fact that the kitchen staff could rather not handle a huge crowd. We waited for an hour to receive our foods, they even served it one by one. Plus, there were some problems with what we booked for but we are glad that they moved us to a much better and bigger room to make up on their mistake.

All in all, I enjoyed my stay there i just hope they get their people trained how to huge amount of customer.

it absolutely a home coming pleasure for me as soon as i enter the gates of royal cliff group of hotels.. i'll describe as event wise experience for me.. the moment i entered the lobby... i was amazed to see a same staff... and was so gracious and welcoming.. that i forgot the flight and travel sickness.. and then the room was well decorated and very much tidy then other hotels... the swimming pool is very very amazing as ever... this tym i went for the beach... and a dip in it was very relaxing... maharani the restaurant is extremely luxurious and makes me feel at home with indian food served at its best.... i never feel to check out from the hotel.... i am in love with this hotel... comming back in jan on the 21st of jan for a stay equally excitted to stay there again...!!! thank you all the team out there for an amazing extravaganza and never the less sorry to mention about the spa.... GRAND SPA ROCKS.... THE BESTEST TREATMENTS I HAVE EVER GOT...!!!!

Room Tip: choose the royal cliff beach hotel.. as rooms are pretty good at low costs..!!

Great overall experience, Luxury hotel great front desk staffs and surprisingly drinks are not over priced. I like new edge-less pool, feel like swimming next to sea and the sky level, one must really try.

Room Tip: I enjoyed hotel as well as meeting at the large convention hall, very modern and good food.
