“Good Beach Resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2011

Its huge property, so its chance that you might have struggle to locate your room for first few days. Rooms are big and have a good view. Rates are also reasonable and has its private beach with few water sports. The resort has a completely traditional look of Thailand. Staff is very courteous and friendly

We chose Royal Cliff Beach Hotel for our annual Sales meet .Facilities at the property matched our requirements - Big Hall , AV arrangements , Easy to reach , Comfortable rooms . But there was more in store when we reached and actually experienced.

Extremely courteous, efficient , and friendly staff made it very easy for us to organise all our events on time .Food was nice and on time , everytime. People with special requirements were also looked after , with their speciific food demands .

Pick-up and drop facilities also were great .We got lot of tips on nightlife and shopping from them .

Our two day stay was a blast with the help of Hotel staff .

I wish the staff a great business always.

The Caprice restaurant at Royal Wing and Grill Room at Beach Hotel are my favored out of the 11 restaurants. I heard they have the best Chinese Restaurant outside China but we had not enough time to eat there.

The new Mini Suites at 8th floor are spacious, clean with great ocean views. We will be back!

We loved this hotel for many reasons. The first one being for the resort's massive grounds, incredible pools, amazing gym/tennis courts, and many 4-5 star restaurants.

The second reason for our love for this hotel was because of the staff. Every single one was pleasant, helpful, and went beyond our expectations.

The room was very large with a comfortable king sized bed and well supplied bathroom.

Large buffet breakfast served every day with a good variety and Asian and Western delicacies.

The only minor flaw I would say about this hotel is lack of free WiFi. But they do provide guests with free 30 -minute internet access in their business room.

I live in Thailand and have been to many hotels throughout the country - this one is probably the best. Perfect hotel for those who want to feel like they're in Phuket/Krabi!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights; the resort itself is well-equipped but, is more suited for those who prefer to enjoy staying at the property for longer periods of time rather than heading out into the main city. Had we known it was a bit of a distance (and hard to access) to and from the main city (near Walking Street), we would have booked another location.

The hotel offers complimentary shuttle-buses to the downtown shopping areas, every two hours. Unfortunately, there are only approx. 20 seats available for each trip and bookings need to be made in advance. It is EXTREMELY hard to get a taxi or other mode of transport into the city if you're not willing to shell out 300+ baht on a private hotel car, or don't mind riding on one of the scooter-taxis for 50+ baht. Since the property is a bit out of the way, not many taxis pass by.

The rooms were the best part of our experience - we stayed at the Beach Hotel (3rd Floor) and were very impressed by the decor. Overall, a great place to stay if you plan your days right (getting in and out of main Pattaya City).

The hotel staff are great, so is the gym and the pools. 30min free internet each day was also v good. The rooms are fine, not super flash, but clean, a good amount of personal toiletrees and towels, beds are v large but also v firm. Tea , coffee, 3 bottles of drinking water each day and a fridge. Staff are v v v friendly. the location isn't great, but you can work out the cheapest way to get into town with a little forward planning (book on the hotel free shuttle.. its busy so book in advance) . or walk, come out of the hotel and turn left and the walk will take about 20mins and take you past the lighthouse and pier. The breakfast is amazing; all the food you can eat,, yum yum. Drinks and meals are more expensive than a pub in pattaya town, but we made the most out of the cocktail happy hour which also gave us free peanuts and nibbles - as many as you can eat. I wouldn't use the airport pick up again from the hotel: so expensive. It cost us 3000 bht. At the end of our holiday we organised a taxi back to the airport ourself and this cost us just 800 bht. the hotel is good for couples and families and is far away from the seedy Pattaya side. Its a big hotel, with lots of russians in skimpy bikinis. I am just glad that topless sunbathing is illegal in thailand.. all those russian boobs would have put me off my cocktails.

This hotel is nice. It is located in a very spacious area on the hill. The room is also nice and has a very nice view of the sea. Love it :-)
