many times to pattaya and without a doubt this was my families best trip made possible by the hardrock staff.
my children are 6 and 9 years of age and the didnt want to leave
activities throughout the day and getting involved made our holiday. the guys around the pool sax,arm,x and everyone else looked after our children.these guys really care about your kids.
swimming pool ecellent,food really good.we had 2 adults and 2children in 1 room and were comfy.right from the time you walk in the door you are made to feel welcome.the only downside to hardrock is alcohol prices are too high .
we did not find it too noisy.
we will definately be staying there again or my kids wont forgive me

I was looking for a bargain for pattaya hotel and found this secret deal on wotif.com for a pattaya hotel so i went for it. It turned up to be this Hard Rock, then I search the net, couldn't find any better rate.

Stay there for the weekend. It was fab, foam party and all that. Thay also have a free activities for me to join but i was too drunk ot catch it. I went there with my girlfrind so i didn't go for the Hard Rock Cafe but we walk down the street and found this seafood rest. - can't remember the name, the blue blue shop. the sauce was very very spicy. The walking street has changed a lot, too much of those a-go-go, don't go to pattaya with your girlfriend, hehehe.

Ive stayed at the Hard Rock hotel a couple of times and generally enjoyed my stay both times, the pool is lovely, the location is great as are the views, the food is excellent (esspecially if your travelling with fussy teenagers) and the staff are very friendly.

However, the thing that bugs me about this hotel is that its just unjustifiably expensive, its simply not worth the money!...the rooms are average and bathrooms below par, the '60's retro style rock and roll' ambience comes off as rather lame, plastic and cheap.

When one compares the price of a night at the Hard Rock with say the Royal Cliff, its hard to comprehend that they are charging the same rate per night as they are simply not in the same league.

It can also get quite noisy at night, esspecially at the weekends as its quite popular with the younger generation, during my last stay i could here the revellers from my 9th floor room at 3am for 3 nights running and was told there is nothing they could do about it so be warned.

A fun hotel! The room was only OK - we upgarded to a deluxe which had impressive views over Pattaya Bay and well worth the extra for the pleasure of sitting on the balcony in the evening. The room was of a modest size , but with a tiny bathroom - no real bath but a sort of deep tub with shower over it. The furniture was obviously meant to be retro and fun, but just looked cheap. However the bed was big and comfortable and there was CD player. The hotel public areas were great. the HardRock Cafe was exactly as you would expect, whilst the pool was impressive. I would stay here again just for the pool! I would warn those who wish to have a quite holiday to consider elsewhere, after all this is a Rock Hotel!! I arived after a 15hr flight via Dubai from the UK, and hit the bars with my wife until 2am, reckoning that I could sleep by the pool the following day. What a silly plan!! As the band set up on the stage jutting out into the pool I realised that I would not get any sleep! On the plus sie it was very lively and having a few beers at the pool was great. The entire hotel was a lot of fun, but not relaxing!!!!! Just bear in mind that it is The Hard Rock!
