“Fantastic stay!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We stayed here for 3 nights. Got a good deal 2 nights with 1 night free. Room service was exceptional. Everything was taken care of at your beck and call. Pool was great. The best part about this hotel is its location. Its right on the beach road and close to all the action Pattaya has to offer. 10 mins walk to Walking Street. I would definitely stay here again for its location, the look and feel of the hotel and ofcourse for its prompt room service.

Went to the hotel with my wife, kid and two more couples. The best part of the hotel is the location. It's bang in the market with the beach at the back and market in the front. Though the hotel is a bit old but well maintained. The problem of bathroom doors as mentioned in the reviews is true. There are gaps in the bathroom doors due to which one cannot use the bathroom when some other guest is in the room.

Breakfast was good and the pool bar was great. Though the hotel is in the middle of the market one would not feel all the hustle bustle once inside the campus.

The staff specially in the reception were very helpful.

For a family stay i would recommend this hotel.

It's a very good hotel in a very good location. The staff have been very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel director Dylan was quick to introduce himself at poolside and pretty much made sure we were looked after. Dylan is definitely the measure of the Minor Drive Culture. Stay here with confidence.

Stayed with family for 3 nights at the Marriott. Must say that it meets all your expectations and more. The hotel while a bit dated is still well kept, clean and the service is impeccable. The cocktails at the pool side bar were brilliant. The location is great as far as the beach road is concerned. its connected internally to the adjoining mall. It was my in laws anniversary and the staff did up the room very sweetly for them and sent a comp cake as well. These small gestures are what you remember and take back from a trip. Definitely recommended..

Room Tip: Either take the pool access rooms on the ground level or the sea facing onces on a higher floor.

Stayed for 3 days for business meeting. Excellence service overall from front desk to waiters. Deluxe room i stayed in was a little dated but clean. Bed wasn't comfortable compared to other marriotts i've been to in thailand i,e, jw bangkok or jw phuket. Found a dead lizard on the floor in my bedroom and had to call the maid to take it away. It turned out to be a fake one. A kid who occupied before me must gave gone home without his pet. The men's bathroom at the lobby was small and dirty and that's the only place in the hotel i found to miss the marriott standard.
There's a mall adjacent to it. A small 3 storey mall with Ripley's entertainment on the 3rd floor. Parking space is quite limited at the hotel. You might have to park your car in the mall's parking. Be sure to have your parking ticket validated at hotel's front desk or you might end up paying very expensive parking fee. Breakfast buffet was good. Lunch buffet was Thai food and were ok nothing to beag about. In conclusion, i would give this one just a four star.

Everytime when I am travelling to Pattaya, I love to stay here... The hotel located in the heart of the city with a beautiful Garden Landscape.. a real resort in the City.. When you are sitting by the pool, you hardly hear the traffic noises....
I love also the Spa there... after finished with the spa, I can go shopping and dining at the Royal Garden Plaza that connected direct with the hotel....
The Breafast buffet here is also JUST THE BEST!! I've never seen such a big buffet with so many choices... European Breakfast, Chinese Breakfast, Japanise Breakfast, Veggie Breakfast, Thai Breakfast... It is almost A BRUNCH for me... I love to have my breakfast quite late and miss out my lunch...
BTW, PLS try BENIHANA... a Taipan Japanise Cooking @your table...choose your fresh meat or seafood with your favourite Veggie... Let' s it cook and the cook will entertain you. I love to go there with family and the children...

Room Tip: Suite 1030 and 1031 on the 10th Floor...
