“Beautiful stay !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

First of all,the place is very easy to find,I just told to my driver that my guesthouse is in SOI SARITA(soi No 11),and he drop me there in a second. Also,in the main street,Jomtien road, there is the big red sign where is written SARITA.Turn there and in this street is your place.
This big guesthouse has all amenities like any hotel in the world, everyday cleaning, everyday new towels...which means that you can compare with any three or four star hotel in the world.Rooms are huge, even for three people. And the owner and his wife are so helpful and friendly, good English speaker, which is not always common in Thailand with Thai people. They are full of informations, best advices for restaurants,massage...
Generally,I had very good stay in Jomtien Morningstar.

let me first agree YES nice helpful owner.YES big rooms.but sadly most of these reviews only dwell on these 2 facts. In reality it miss led us.I suppose by reading the reviews, good value ? if like us you found all beach front hotels "full due to the annual candle festival."
It would certainly help Not to place it in Booking.com at between soi 11 & 12.after 3 trips IN OUR CAR around both SOI's,we can assure everyone NO IT IS NOT ! the pictures in fairness do not promote the fact you are located in the centre of an enormous deserted derelict shopping complex.Mosquitos managed to target us 3 within seconds of entering reception.thankfully the ground floor room was free FOR MY ELDERLY SISTER AND HER HUSBAND.the stairs up to 3rd.floor are not a joy by any means.the entrance road up from the main road has no NIGHT lighting from half way down, sad a lot of effort made by owner, but the location and a reception that closes at 10pm ,and an infuriating little pass card to open front door (forgotten in room and several 3 stair cases up walk )will certainly insure no returns there for me.PLEASE remember these reviews are all personal. i have 15 yrs specialising in tourism out here.we are annual world wide award winners for our own homestay guest house resort.perhaps i may seem critical? i am .but i certainly have plenty of experience at what world wide family clients think acceptable or not so.i see from the reviews there are obviously people who thought it a good location.everyone hopefully stated the truth to help other TRAVELLERS.unfortunately the trip adviser reviews did not help us on this occasion.

Room Tip: ground floor is a must if old or infirm.

My friend and I went to Pattaya without any hotel reservations and both of us have never been there. We called Jomtien Morningstar Guesthouse while we were on our way there. The guy was very helpful. He speaks English well. Since the hotel was far from where we were dropped off by the van, he picked us up. It was low season so he was able to do that. Our stay there was real comfortable. The room was big with a tv, safe, refrigerator, clean bed and towels. The staff were very helpful whenever we had questions about the area. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the main street/beach. We didn't mind the walk because the main street can get noisy at night.

Nice people, good 40 msq cozy rooms, steps away from the beach, quiet, clean and well maintained. great if you like a morning beach walk, lot of restaurants around, songthaew taxi passing by on the main road non stop: 10 THB till walking street (10 MINUTES) and 20 THB till central festival.
Laundry service right in front, complimentary coffee and tea at the lobby, special rates for weekly or long term stay.

Room Tip: get a room at the second floor just on top of the reception

The rooms are large and well-furnished. Internet free and fast. A very welcoming environment; the owner is particularly helpful. At the quiet end of the beach which is only 3 mins away. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Stayed in the Jomtien Morningstar Guesthouse in May 2013 for a couple of nights between visiting Pattaya and Phuket. The Hotel is well maintained with pretty much luxurious rooms and just a short walk to Jomtien Beach. There are restaurants and shops all within walking distance and Baht buses run up and down the main streets providing easy access throughout Jomtien and up to Pattaya.

For those who want a room with a view then this is not the place, it has lovey balconies but no real views to talk about but with everything so close it didn’t matter to me.

So, on the whole I thought the Hotel was great value for money and the owner and staff are brilliant, very friendly and helpful. If you get chance to spend some time with the owner himself then he has had an amazing life – ask him about John Lennon!

Spent a few nights here in late May and have to say it was excellent. Rooms and fixtures were modern, great aircon, tv, bed and fridge. Well decorated and a very comfortable stay. The owner was welcoming, helpful and friendly. Quite an interesting guy too.

I would definitely stay again and believe you cannot beat this standard of room for the money.
Five mins walk to the beach and an easy ride up the road to Pattaya its well placed to get about but be out of the way of the noisy nightlife.
