“Thai culture”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

This is one of the most extraordinary place here. The founder was held in such regard by the Chinese Government that he was allowed to have items from the terracotta army in his exhibits on permanent loan. So if you have not seen the real thing you can see a scale model as well as some of the actual figures. There is also a scale model of the Great Wall.
Statuary abound everywhere and it takes quite a while to walk around each floor looking at the range they have. If you have a Thai partner you can get more explanations on what a lot of them are but even so the amount to see is staggering. Two more floors above, one has an exhibit of the Royal barges and there are also models showing the different styles of Thai houses. You can also find the Buddha applicable to your day of birth in the back room. On the first floor balcony are more statues and examples of Thai fighters as well as ones more relaxed playing checkers etc. The cost is negligible and there is also a small garden plus restaurant serving acceptable food

“Don't miss place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

We visited this museum on one cloudy evening which accentuated the look of terracotta soldiers and shaolin monks court. I was really taken in surprise with the linings of these impressive statues.

Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Pattaya to not miss this place

“Sino_Thai museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

I have been several times with visitors. Friends and family have always enjoyed it. The main inside area is filled with many statues which are very similar. It is difficult to take in the overwhelming number of exhibits. The side rooms of royal furniture and the upstairs rooms of cultural and religious murals are more impressive. The outside areas,, especially the Chinese Imperial Court and the Shaolin warrior monks are fascinating and realistically individual. Inexpensive to visit. Chinese-Thai culture.
