“Stunning Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

If you want to experience one of the most well decorated restaurants with super friendly staff then the Mantra has got to be it. The food selection, the quality and the service is second to none. Looking forward to my next visit already.

“Top class amazing food in stunning surrounds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

My husband and I stayed at Amari Ocean resort and part of the package deal was a meal in its very own Mantra which is located next to hotel, stunning decor and ambience inside, attentive and courteous staff,we were amazed to be served 4 starters,4 mains and the most delicious dessert and we both agreed the best cocktail we had ever had! We can see why people will travel miles to eat here,if we are fortunate enough to visit Thailand again we will definitely go out our way to eat at the Mantra,we were lucky to have this in our deal but we would have paid to eat such exquisite food as it was very much worth the money for this worldwide top class quality, delicious!

Dear suneetkarma

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us on Trip Advisor.

I was quite concerned to hear that your dinning experience was not up to your expectation. We pride ourselves on our authentic Indian flavours in which our resident Indian chef has successfully catered to numerous Indian celebrities and for our many high profile Indian events.
I will be sure to discuss this with our Indian chef.

As for the price, we use only premium quality imported products at Mantra, thus the price may be higher than other establishments.

Once again thank you for your feedback and we hope to see you again.

Kind regards

“food is good but too expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

location is great , food is okay but too expensive maybe due to its location and decoration , food was average compare others which we dined overall it was not so bad but prices are higher than other indian restaurants so it pinched our pocket as far as taste others with lower prices tasted better however we cannot say that this was bad food at all

Dear manishlodhidelhi

Thank you for taking the time to share your dining experience with us on Trip Advisor.

I was disappointed to hear that your meal was only average. We at Mantra pride ourselves on providing authentic flavours in each of our multi national cuisines in which we have resident specialty chefs. We use only premium quality produce which may sometimes lead to higher prices than other establishments but also is why we stand out in terms of quality meals. I will be sure to discuss your feedback with our resident Indian chef for future reference.

Once again thank you for dining at Mantra and hope to see you again soon.

Kind Regards

Leonard Faust

“grand surrounding, attentive service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014

Somewhat Thai influenced nouvelle cuisine - extensive winelist - friendly service.

They made some mistakes regarding the general knowledge of their food and wine served, but made up for it by their friendly service.

One remark : the macaron with the coffee was so hard it was meant to be thrown away but not giving to eat. The thing is, these friendly waitresses do not have a clue about how a macaron should taste and feel in the mouth. But they should know that any cookie which is supposed to be tender, which you can reduce to "ashes" by crunching it between your fingers, should not be given...

But once again, overall experience : 5/5 - Thank you all !
