“good resort at the right end of patayya”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2014

stayed here for 11 nights with my wife cannot fault the place. we had a pool villa unit a little bit old now, but very clean with comfortable beds which is not always the case in some hotels.
breakfast could be better but its ok. staff were friendly and overall its not a bad resort.
3 good sized swimming pools and where we stayed a big spa which was a good finish to tired bodys at the end of the day.

Room Tip: stay at this end in patayya its a lot quieter. pool villa rooms are a lot better than the others

The rooms are alittle tired and need an upgrade. The staff are outstanding and make up for the poor accomodation. The usually good breakfasts fell a little short as well. Perhaps management need a meeting with the staff and heed some of their suggestions.

Room Tip: Perhaps an upgrade might be in order.

At the quieter end of town the Sabai Resort is a good mid priced hotel. the three pools are clean and although the hotel was full, not too busy. Walking distance to the beach and the main tourist strip, about a 20 minute walk to the 'walking street' but public taxis are cheap so walking one way and riding the other is a good alternative. the rooms were large and basic but clean and comfortable and the staff while not overly helpful were pleasant. Booking trips at the reception needs to be looked at as a fellow traveller ended up on an entirely different trip to the one her requested. It appeared to cater to couples and families and although there was nighlife nearby my room was very quiet.

Very Good place. Superfast and free wifi. Everthing within reach. Took a couple of days to understand the local transportation methods to move around the city then it was very nice.
Improvement Opportunity: Front desk could be little more friendly.
But overall i liked this place and surely recommended.

Choice of 3 Pools.
Decent size rooms and very comfortable beds.
Situated next to Big C shopping Centre and close to the Beach.
On a quite Soi so no problem sleeping.
A Sauna would have been nice.
Got a free breakfast with the price.
So I suppose if you knock 250b x 2 off the price then its a very reasonable Hotel to stay.
That said its the same crappy buffet breakfast you get in all Thai Hotels.
Sausage.....No...hot dogs.
Bacon...no....strips of overcooked fat that resembles some sort of meat.
Still fill a hole lol
Would I stay there again?????
Yes I think I would

A plush green resort with a peaceful ambiance and good facilities that too in heart of a busting and a loud city. Walking distance from beach and market. Easily available tuk-tuk to most of the locations.
Pools are clean and maintained. Food is good. Rooms are clean but slightly dated. Staff needs to be more polite and helpful.
A good value of money overall..

We stayed here four 5 nights and I could have stayed longer. This property has 3 pools. The private villa area of the resort has its own private pool. The gardens are lovely too. Our air con room was very spacious with king size bed and nice bathroom. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices. Location one street back from the beach, shopping centre close by and Alcazar ladyboy show right next door. In room safe, flat screen TV. Everything was excellent.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms are smaller and have tiny windows. Choose ground level alongside the pool in the fro...
