“STAYED FOR 11 NIGHTS IN VILLA”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

I used EVA AIR non stop to Bangkok, Then the hotel Taxi met me It is about 1 hour 45 minutes to resort. Check in took 5 minutes then a golf buggy to the middle of the complex where the villas with private pool are located.
Very clean 2 bottles of water in fridge every day. Free safe. Just outside private pool and kept very clean. Breakfast was help yourself and lady to cook eggs etc. No problem with the staff room cleaned and sheets changed everyday.
10 Baht on the bus to all the places in Pattaya.
Afraid the beach is not very clean in fact in the evening lots of rats running around. Take the boat across to the island nice beach there. The resort is very large with 3 pools and you can call the buggy if you prefer. Next door is the large BIG C shopping mall nice air conditioned. Plenty of bars and eating places around. If you smoke wait until the duty free at Airport 600 Baht for a carton of 200. The rate of exchange was 44 baht to the UK pound. My stay was from the 28th March until 8th April. Loved EVA AIR and would use again. Hope this helps as I would use this hotel again.

Room Tip: Stayed in villa 510 Private pool plenty of towels supplied

Sabai resort it wonderful, i have stayed in march 2012 & march 2013 and both experiences were such a lovely time. The staff are lovely and always smiling. The food is soo tasty (the hangover burger) and the pools are clean. Such a wonderful beautiful hotel i would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting pattaya and its only a stone throw away from the beach. Well done sabai resort see you in 2014.

I was staying here with my friend and my buddies. We had a lot fun. The view, the decoration was great :) actually we knew this hotel which is 3 star and didn't expect too much things. Quiet long way from walking street but you can take a baht bus for 50 baht

I recently stayed at Sabai for 6 nights with a friend whilst we were in Pattaya. Overall, the hotel is worth the money we paid (approx £30 a night per room) and I would definitely recommend to others!

LOCATION
Located on a main road with all amenities close by (Family Mart, McDonalds, food stalls, massage parlours, beer bars etc).
Walking Street is a short tuk tuk ride away and so are the shopping centres and the Pattaya beach front.
The actual resort is quite large and the walk from the lobby to rooms/villas at the back of the resort can take about 5 minutes.
There is a club located near the back of the resort (not part of the hotel) and loud music can be be heard until the early hours - but this is the same story in all of Pattaya!

SERVICES
Friendly staff who spoke good English and were always willing to help. We asked the hotel about recreational activities, shopping centres etc nearby and they were more than happy to help.
The hotel has 3 pools - 1 reserved for villa guests. The pools are clean and there are sun loungers dotted around the pool - great sunbathing!
The breakfast is a buffet with a massive variety!

CLEANLINESS AND COMFORT
Not the best hotel in the world, but is comfortable. The villa rooms are large with large bathroom suites. Housekeeping do a pretty decent job.
Air conditioning in the rooms is very good and the rooms come with standard fixtures and fittings- wardrobes, safe etc.
Some of the rooms do have damp on the ceiling and some bathroom fixtures may need replacing. That is probably the only thing I can fault Sabai for.

We were staying with my wife in february at Sabai resort, actually we knew this hotel which is 3 star and didn't expect too much things. Anyway we did airport transportation, but they send us very dirty and old car I was shocked at that time. After 2 hrs we reached hotel and on the check in there was one staff explaining us where is the b'fast venue with very poor english, I didn't understand and asked her again, she was very angry and told me '' listen to me OK, there is''..... however hotel stars but this answer absolutely unacceptable. Also on the hotel website and the other tour websites for this hotel writing wi-fi available. In our room there was no wi-fi, how many times we called CS but in one week nobody didn't help us. I don't know who is the manager over there and what are they doing. But you can not see them around. But which is I know staff need to be training about ''how to welcome guest with Thai hospitality" & "how to handle guest problems''........ I would recommend this hotel who wants to stay night to night, but I will not recommend sabai resort who wants to enjoy their holiday day to day in this place.

Room Tip: ''Village side on the back side of the resort''

Sabai Resort is on a great location, 2nd road opposite Soi 3. Well run hotel, very spacious alyout with numerous pools. Decent priced bar food and drinks. Large rooms and bathrooms. Clean rooms with a Thai style. Safe and mini bar in every room. Shower sometimes runs cold then back to very hot!
Stayed in this hotel numerous times in the past 2 years and would return again.
Close to many bars and beach road all within couple of minutes walk. Also, Big C, Pizza Hut, KFC, MK are only next door.
