Me and a colleague where in Bangkok for a business meeting, when suddenly the airports closed due to demonstrations. We decided to go down to Pattaya and relax until we could travel back home.
One of our colleagues had stayed at the Dusit for a vacation a few weeks back, and he highly recommended this hotel. It turned out that everything he said was right! The service was excellent and the location perfect.
Usually we went out to eat during our stay, but we tried two of the hotels restaurants - The Bay (Italian) and the Cascade (International). The food was excellent at both of them.
The swimming pool where big and clean and the garden surrounding the hotel was extremely well maintained. Very nice!
I had a Grand Room at the 8th floor with a sea view and a balcony. The room was clan and very big.
The total experience with this hotel was flawless. I have added it to my list of the 10 best hotels I have ever stayed in!
The only thing I can complain about is the prices. This hotel might be one of the most expensive in Pattaya, but you get what you pay for. However, be aware that you can stay one week at other hotels for the price of one night at Dusit.
