On 25 February 2008, my husband and I got married at Villa Champak in Miskawaan Estate. We couldn't have asked for anything more - the setting, the food, the service, the decorations were all incredible. I notice there are reviews from a large wedding on this website as well. We had a small, intimate wedding, only 4 guests, but we were still treated like royalty.

We booked the villa through Samui Villas and Homes, who also organized the wedding through their wedding planner, Gym. Gym took care of everything, and made the wedding more beautiful than we could have ever hoped for. Before the ceremony, we had masseuses, manicurists, and hair/make-up stylists all travel to the villa, so we just had to sit back and be pampered. During the wedding, we had amazing decorations, orchids everywhere, beautifully presented food, Thai dancers, and release of Thai lanterns for good luck; we and our guests were thrilled with it all.

Between SVH and the staff of Miskawaan Estate, they took care of all our needs, making for a very low-stress stay. The staff of Miskawaan just can't do enough for you, and manage to be attentive yet unobtrusive. The Thai chef makes divine food with attention to detail, such as carved fruits and vegetables. The villa itself is awesome, a great indoor/outdoor living concept, and is situated on a nice beach with little foot traffic.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this villa for a wedding, or for a group who wants to stay in pure luxury.

My Partner and I recently stayed at the Miskawaan Villa's on Maenam beack, Koh Samui, for a friends wedding which was held at the Villa's. The property is beautiful! the entire complex is very new, the villa's are spread evenly along the beach so each individual complex gets sea views. We stayed in the Champak Villa, each one having its own staff to look after anything you could possibly need, from cooking any meals you may want to organising scooters, taxi's, massage, anything! and like all Thai's (most) they are the politest people you will meet.

I have stayed at numerous places in Koh Samui and can honestly say this is the best, while certainly being more expensive, if you want a relaxing, hassle free stay, it is totally worth the cost. I would recommend it to anyone.

Location is excellent (great beach / calm surrounding)
The Rooms are fantastic and clean (generous and with all the luxury you need)
Techniqual equipment are state of the art (Flat TV / sound System / Kitchen etc...)
The Manager is an outstanding friendly & helpful person

Only downturn was the service within the villa. Although beeing extremely friendly they were (still) missing experience and were not able to always understand what was expected (would assume mainly a language problem). Might have been specific to our villa as visitors of other villas were very satisfied.

If you are 5 couples and you would like to spend a week together to escape the winter ... that's the place to go!!!

P.S.: also suitabel for golf freaks... the Santiburi Golf course is not far away and really outstanding

We were in the Gardenia Villa with four other couples.
We stayed for four nights (18th-22nd Feb.08)
It is an amaizing place to stay and an amaizing place to host a wedding.The rooms are big and spacious and very up market.
Michael Fahey and his staff make you feel very special.
Each Villa has its own staff,kitchen,dining-rooms,lounge and swimming pool.Just a couple of steps from the pool and you are on the beach.
Plenty of local eating places within walking distance if you wish to eat out.
We can highly recomend Miskawaan as a special place to stay.
