The Zazen resort is in a class of it's own, can't compare it to anything... Simply the best place to be spoiled, relax and enjoy. There is absoutely nothing they won't do for you. The food is over delicious, and as they write orgasmic. The staff is truely there for you 24/7. The gardens are fantastic, you get the feeling of staying in a luxurious jungle. Everything is available for you at all time, the amenities provided for you in he bathroom,makes it nearly unnessecary for you to bring anything with you - at all. Silky robes and slippers in the room, beds and covers are top notch. If you wish to see other parts of the island, just ask, they will drive you there. Cosy internet lounge where you can also borrow books and dvd movies, nice selection of dvd's. Cute little shop, and a stunning spa programme. You don't have to leave the area at all, they have it all. And of course... the orchids are everywhere, on your bed, in the bathroom - in small water containers all over the place. The pictures on the internet doesn't show the real Zazen, the real place is much better - you will not be dissapointed.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with amazing rooms and attention to detail. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The food is AMAZING- some of the best thai and western food I've ever eaten (expect to pay western prices for it though). Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the outdoor bathrooms are amazing (although if I'm being picky the water pressure isn't great).
A few things worth bearing in mind are that the pool is quite small and the beach isn't amazing- we stayed in Chaweng previously which is a much nicer beach. However, I have very little to fault with the hotel itself- absolutely lovely.

Me and my girlfriend stayed almost one week at Zazen and after one month are still talking about it. Everything was perfectly arranged and we really felt in our home away from home. What makes it wonderful is the details: service, gardens, rooms, restaurant setting, staff uniforms (they look so beautiful you wanna wear one).

The restaurant at Zazen was an excellent surprise. Thank you to Diego for all his suggestions and of course to Chef Wally for his magical cuisine. I have tried to cook myself an orgasmic salmon when got back home but I guess I will have to return to Thailand to have another real one !

The weather was not the best during our stay and we really appreciated all the effort of the management in helping us organize our day with activities and of course the spa... you've got to try the spa ! Prices are not higher than other places we visited on the island but at least you can be sure it's worth it.

The resort is located on Bophut beach which is not the best location if you are looking for nightlife but, as we didn't, it was perfect for us.

What else can we say, kopp kum kaap to Zazen ! We will be back as soon as possible !! : )

My husband and I got married at Zazen resort and they couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone there was so nice and we can't thank them enough. It's a very romantic place and the food in particular is excellent. I really recommend this place for anyone considering getting married on Samui.
