I ve been there with my friends who live in Samui. We first had a drink at the Airbar. Great view, nice staff, cool DJ... definitely a place to "sunset chill out" (watch out though, the small coffee tables, they are not flat, ... annoying!).
Then we told ourself let s extend this cool experience with the restaurant close by, the "Amber". Well, we should not have... Buffet style, the food is mediocre. Untasty Thaï food, weak is the word.
Plus without wine, it s going to cost you nearly 2000 bahts (tax included) to eat a continental Thaï buffet. There are so many awesome places in Samui where you can have an unforgettable experience for that amount of money (we were at Zazen for lunch, that's a Place).
