“a little bit of Spain on Koh Samui”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2012

Authentic tapas bar. The chef/owner is from Barcelona. The gambas al ajillo is yummy--better than what I had at La Casa del Abuelo in Madrid--and you can sit down to eat, too. Sop up the olive oil, chili, garlic & shrimp bits with some bread, and wash it all down with some Thai beer.
You can even practise your Spanish with the group of Spanish expats who hang out there on Friday nights!

“Tapas!! this is the real deal away from home.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2012

Nestled in the very heart of the charming Fisherman's Village, this is the only budget place that offers budget real Spanish cuisine in Samui. It has a complete menu with what seems to be real mediteranean ingredients.
I keep going every friday when Fisherman's village is bustling with "walking street". The owner is on site, serving supercheap tapas and a selection of wines and even spanish beers. Cool place to watch the world go by, people watching and mingling with the little spanish expat community in Samui. I will keep coming back
