“Ticklish but interesting”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

The spa is done up well: it's spacious, clean and comfortable. What makes me ambiguous about the spa is that one, the sensation of fish nibbling away was hard for someone who is ticklish like me. It doesn't hurt at all, but is ticklish and consequently not very relaxing. Two, the spa is designed with glass on most sides so one feels like a fish in a fishbowl, to borrow a cliched but apt metaphor! Actually, let me add a third reason this was an average experience: the fish didn't do as good a job at softening my feet as a good, old pedicure.

“An Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2012

It is a great experience! This place is a bit pricier than others on the streets, however it is VERY clean. Apparently the fish are the real garra rufa.
