We found Kantara in a restaurant brochure! Sounding fantastic we headed in for our last Thai Cuisine before heading home. We arrived and were seated for a few minutes before being escorted to the restaurant........ To our surprise there was No one there, and the chef was texting in the kitchen... Where's the bar man? where's the people? Suddenly there was doubt.
we ordered there samosas which we saw in brochure as recommended.... To our surprised their advertised favourite was not available.
we then ordered our curries........
they came in the wrong sauces .... The chicken dish had duck....or cat? and the duck had chicken? The green curry was red curry and the red curries were green? we were utterly confused. the dishes that were not meant to be spicy were spicy and those that were meant to be spicy weren't.
I suppose it was windy (there answer as to why it was quiet)
Or maby it was Opposite Day...
To say the least our experience at lantana was an adventure, our taste buds were tested...
but there is no greater way to leave then the owner ask in a shocked voice
