Gorgeous little hotel at the quite end of the Lamai beach, The hotel is situated on a hill in a beautiful garden with amazing bird life. There is a pool right on the beach. The beach is rather shallow but still nice for taking a dip, quite and peaceful.. The staff especially the manager were very helpful and on the ball. The rooms were superb large rooms and bathrooms, exceptionally clean, well maintained, with all amenities needed for a comfy stay. Amazing sunset views. The breakfast was really good. Ate dinner here a couple of times The food was well priced fresh and delicious. The only down side, if you have a mobility problem the climb back from the beach is a little steep but that seemed to be the case with all hotels in that stretch. It didn't bother us. We walked to town and back on the beach. Walking back along the beach means you need to wade into the water at several spots. If you want to go out at night you will definitely need some form of transport.
Thanks to the manager and staff for an amazing stay

We stayed there in end if may, which is not high season. It was cloudy and rained on some days but never for too long. During the day ocean tide goes out and leaves maybe 40-60 meters - basically you can't swim there during the day. At night the tide comes in drastically and makes adventurous walk on the beach.
On arrival we've been upgraded to a better room- top floor apartment which was huge with private terrace and beautiful views- all clean and new.
Hotel manager( we think he was called Sawade) was very nice and helpful all the time: day and night.
He puts real credit to his guests, very professional and polite. The slightest problem has been resolved straight away.

This is a prefect place for couples who want to hide away and be left alone: it is a bit of a walk from lamai beach but it wasn't a problem to us as we enjoyed long romantic walks.
Food is very simple, and could be better - same as anywhere in thailand really, but service is brilliant and people are genuinely nice.
If you want a little but more luxury there are few good hotels nearby where you can go to spa and restaurant for a change: Silavadee, Banyan Tree, Mariott...
You can freely go to their private beach and order drinks and stay there for a bit.
After staying in Cinnamon we took a boat to Koh Tao island -which we absolutely loved.

We stayed on lamai beach during low season. The beach had very low tides and was not pleasing. Our hotel was at the tail end of the beach on a steep valley that cabs charged an extra 100 bhat to come get us. The front desk manager was not helpful most times. Hotel very far for good eats. If you are young and not on your honeymoon lamai beach was not the place stay. Stay on chewang instead. Of all the islands koh samui was our least favorite but the surrounding island in koh samui were suppose to be amazing. Maybe next time.

A nice and small hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. It is situated on Lamai Beach - a beautiful and peaceful beach. the location is very quiet, a bit out of the center. You need to rent a car or motorbike to go some where. I would not recommend this hotel to party people. it was fitting my needs and would immediately go again.

Small yet sufficient. People are friendly. Koh samui is a heaven on earth and the best part for me was that you dont get to see too many indians around :) The croud is amazing and the drives are awesome. I stayed here for 8 nights but still wanted more.... Hotel is located bang opp Banyen Tree and near to Lamui beach.

Room Tip: I booked their beach villa. It was spacious and at this price point quite nice. Dont forget to barga...

I ended up at this property for two nights because the other Hotel I originally booked (Palm Coco Mantra) was overbooked so they sent me to the Cinnamon which is a "sister" property of theirs. Mr Sawat (GM) is a very nice man and tried to make up for the Palm Coco's mistake by providing very good service and upgrading me to a deluxe sea view room. The room is huge but as pointed out in other reviews, the A/C is very bad. Loud and not powerful enough to cool down the room unless it has been on for hours at high which is sadly a waste of energy. You will need to rent a motorbike or take a taxi to get around unless you enjoy walking in the heat. There is no beach per say so expect to travel about 10 minutes to get to Lamai beach where you will be able to swim. The restaurant is very basic and offers a very limited choice of items. I was not impressed. The Hotel is located in a very secluded area so it's always peaceful which I enjoyed. The GM told me that renovations were going to be carried out in the coming months so perhaps they will deal with the A/C issue at that time. On the pricey side and there are other properties which offer better value/amenities however, if you get a good price and are looking for a quiet place to relax then go for it.

the hotel is not clean. staff can't speak english and its hard to communicate with them. ac is so old and noisy (sleeping with a.c is nightmare). mr sawat is a gentle man and really helpful but the hotel is avarage. sea is not for swimming. you must rent a motorbike cause hotels location is not in centre. lamai beach is 10 minutes with motorbike and its better then chaweng if you ask me.

Room Tip: rent a room with a view
