You kinda get what you pay for as far as the room goes. It's very basic, but the bed is comfortable. You have to ask for towels and take out your own trash, the shower/bath is beat-up looking - it reminded me of a youth hostel in Europe. Also all the Europeans there contributed to that feeling.
Seems like it would be hot in the summer although they do have fans and lots of screened windows.
The thing that makes it a great place to stay is that you can eat there cheap, get your laundry done cheap, the owners are so sweet and helpful, and you're paying literally peanuts.
Recommended. We ended up kind of liking it better than an expensive resort we stayed at in Chiang Rai, because of the warmth and low cost.
