My husband and I stayed here for 6 days on our adventure thru Thailand. The first few nights we stayed in a fan room (350B) until a aircon room was available (500B). There was nothing different in either room other than the cooling system (which was worth every penny). They kept the rooms, "lobby" and halls very clean. The rooms were nothing special but we thought they were of excellent value.

Make sure you go to "A Nice Resturant" which is just down the street on the same side as CM Blue House for breakfast, mmmm, we still think about those cheap delicious breakfasts.

After reading the reviews on this website, I booked 1 week with the CM Blue House for 6 people, 2 air con rooms and 1 fan room. We were not disappointed, this guesthouse was clean and neat with very friendly staff, especially Tim and Tony who were very helpful during our time there.

After seeing both the fan and aircon rooms, I would reccomend spending the extra for the aircon as the fan room that my friends stayed in did not have a fridge or TV like our aircon room did.

The guesthouse is centrally located and the trek that we booked through them was also very enjoyable. The food there was also good and reasonably priced.

We had a very good stay at CM Blue and would definitely return

The Chiang Mai Blue House is a great guesthouse centrally located in Chiang Mai. It is run by two American men who own it which makes it very easy to communicate. They are very knowledgable about attractions and things to do in the city.
Through the hotel, we booked a wonderful two day trek and a one day cooking class. They set it all up for you at the front desk.
Except for the bed being a bit hard, the room was great. Very spacious and comfortable.
The hotel also has a beautiful eating and relaxing area where you can help yourself to beverages and pay when you check out.
I found this property to be very quiet and well taken care of.

Stayed in this place in Chiang Mai at the end of January.Its run by a nice american dude. Can;t remember his name! Its located fairly centrally within the central square of Chiang Mai. About a 5min walk to pubs/restaurants. The place has good enough rooms. The bar is self service which is nice and relaxed. We booked our hilltribe trek from here and they even let you leave your rucksacks with them for a small fee. The trek we boked through here was great too.
