“Amazing place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

Such a wonderful and welcoming place to stay!! The guys on reception were so friendly and went out of their way to help arrange activities during our stay! Their English was impeccable! Very impressed! A friend suggested we stay at 3sis she mentioned the tea elephants! I couldn't leave without buying one......i just struggled deciding on whcih one, I wanted them all!! We travelled all over Thailand for a month over Christmas and New Year, 3sis has to be one of the best places we stayed and for such a great price!! Thank you and sorry I'm only getting round to writing on here now!

We stayed for three days in one of the mid-tier rooms. We enjoyed our stay, especially the proximity to everything including the night market. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. Beds were very hard, but that's hard to escape at cheaper hotels in Thailand. The guy at the front desk speaks fluent English, which is really helpful. Overall this is a very good option for the $30-60 range.

I booked 3sis on the hostelworld.com. Although there were not many comments I though it will be fine. And it was! Excellent location, centre of main sights but very quite. Very conformable room. Very friendly and help staff. It was really a lovely small hotel and can relax your heart. Definitely will come back for 3sis.

The 3 sis GUEST HOUSE is a great place to base yourself in Chiang Mia. The staff are friendly and eager to meet ones needs, they are professional and polite. The lounge area is spacious with big bean bags and day-beds to lounge the hot afternoons away. Someone here has a great eye for detail. The food in the restaurant is good and reasonably priced. Right opposite Wad Chedi Luang, and overlooking the Sunday walking market, the location can't be bettered. The place is spotlessly clean. Follow the advice of the staff regarding local places to eat and sights to see and you will have a great time. I'll be coming back to this place again!

We stayed here whilst in Chiang Mai for three days in August and we have to say that it was top class. The venue and rooms where lovely and traditional, everywhere was extremely clean and well kept and all the staff where very kind and helpful. The breakfast was simple but enjoyable all the same and would recommend this place highly as all these factors mixed with the fact that it cost us €50/ night makes this place an absolute bargain!

We stayed here for a week and although the guest house is in a good location across the road from Wat Chedi and in the heart of the Old City, it is overpriced for what you get. The showers barely have any water flow and the water is warm at best. The breakfast is basic and not much to choose from. The reception staff barely answer your questions and don't seem to remember how to smile anymore. The wi-fi goes on and off in the rooms like a traffic light which is extremely frustrating. The tv is a waste of time because the reception is totally crap and there are no english channels - at least that you can see. The noise from people slamming their doors wakes you up if you are sleeping - unless you sleep like the dead. We stayed in other guesthouses in Chiang Mai which had better facilities and were cheaper. Look around. You can do better than 1650 Baht per night at this guesthouse.

Right in the heart of the old city, walking distance to many sights, restaurants, street markets and shopping. With a major Wat across the street, free breakfast and comfortable rooms. To top it off the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. A real gem.

Room Tip: Because of the location, I imagine all of the rooms are quiet.
