We were actually going to visit the elephant conservation centre but then we saw the advert for the nature park. I was much happier to go here as I did not want to see elephants in shows or ride elephants.
it costs more than other elephant experiences in chiang mai but is worth every penny and more! One of the most amazing days of my trip and possibly life and goes to an amazing cause!
The guide who collected us from our hotel, Ten, was great. We watched a documentary on the way there.
We got to feed the elephants, walk around with them and bath them n the river! The food was lovely a lunch and the documentary in the afternoon was sad but I just closed my eyes in parts,
I would go back in a heart beat, I will never forget my day with the elephants and plan on sponsoring one as soon as I return from my trip.
You will not regret it!
Oh and also, a few people mentioned the dogs. They really were not a problem. They have now put up a new home for the dogs away rom the elephants so there are not that many wandering around.
