“One of the BEST!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

This chic and stylish cafe is one of our favourite places in CM. James and Pai have created a really relaxed and chilled atmosphere here where you can come for a coffee & cake or have a long leisurely breakfast (weekends) or lunch.

The BLT is one of my favourites - crispy bacon, juicy tomatoes, lettuce and spicy homemade tomato jam on a freshly baked roll. The Caesar Burger is inspired by the salad with grilled chicken and is delicious too. The Chocolate Lava is to die for (if you can wait 15mins). We also love the Illy Coffee.

We really miss the cafe culture in Australia and this is the closest thing to it here in Chiang Mai.
It is located at JJ Market (opp the big Green Sign) and is very easy to find - just tell the tuktuk driver to go to Rimping Supermarket at JJ. Highly Recommended.

“Get there!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

Excellent burgers plus great coffee!

And the hand-cut chips too!

In a lovely little area with some nice shops. Definitely stop in!

“Great if you cab find it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

The White Plate cafe is hidden behind Rimping near JJ market. It is worth the trouble finding it ,not least because you can buy wine in Rimping. The staff are friendly and we had our Chiang mai friends group there .It was lovely sitting outside and enjoying the lovely food and wine.

“Great little cafe.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Went here with a friend while travelling around. Food was awesome! I had the best chicken satay burger, with fresh ingredients. Plus their ice chocolate drink was great on a hot sticky day.
Recommend this cafe!

“Pleasant place, hard to locate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

The young couple who operates this small cafe and eatery did a good job. The interior is fresh and pleasing, however the low-budget, home-made seating is very uncomfortable. The food (I had the burger with mango) is good and nicely served. My suggestion would be to ask the customer how he/she wants to have the burger cooked. I had an espresso afterwards and it was really Illy coffee. Very good, and outside of Bangkok somewhat a rarity. Go and try it out, if you can find it,
