“Amazing place and staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights,
The hotel/pool is amazing
The staff are the sweetest people - they will go out of their way to make things happen for you
The place/room were extremely clean (cleanliness was a major issue for me)
The room is quite big
Great value for money
Breakfast was lovely

The location is not ideal, but drivers (taxis/tuktuks) will know how to get there if you give them the name of the temple right next to the hotel

Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to everyone

I am not the type of guy who likes to complain but our experience in this hotel was so bad that i have to write about it ....

We spent 2 hours finding the hotel. Taxis and Tuktuk didn't even know where were the hotel ... Finally, one adventurous tuktuk decided to give us a ride (after calling 4 friends to make sure he knew where it was) : he got lost ! The hotel is far from the city and the only way to get to chiang mai is to use their free transfer at 6 am or 1 pm. (Sure you can pay 200 bath for their private cab ... Wich is 5 meals in the city). There are no restaurant in the neighbourhood, so you will have to eat there or send 2 hours every night to go back to the hotel.

We finally arrive at the hotel after 45 minutes driving from chiang mai center ( of course no one knows where the hotels is ...) and then it's time to check in ... A guy is coming out the back office, looks like he just woke up ... No hello, no papers, not a word, he just open the door of our roo and leaves us ... OK ( it is supposed to be a 4 stars right ?)

We wanted to cancel our second night so we asked the guy at the reception. He talked to her manager and told us it was ok : we would just pay for the night. Great ! They understand !! The guy gives me the receipt for the night BUT then the manager changes her mind and tells us we can't cancel due to their policy so we had to pay for the whole nights. It is unprofessionnal to act like this. WE LEFT ANYWAY !!!

We decided not to ##*%%## up our 3 day trip in Chiang mai and booked a room in the Manathai village which was a perfect hotel with great location and service. We left the Rawisara resort with no regrets ...

My partner and I stayed at this wonderful resort for 8 days to simply relax from heftic life. The resort is spotlessly clean, the staff do everything to please their guests from pick up service to printing to room service. Superb pool and immaculate rooms and villas. Breakfast was amazing and fresh.

Resort was beautiful. My wife and I stayed there for 2 days on our honeymoon had a great stay. The staff was so friendly and so helpful. It was a jewel in the city. Was very peaceful. Bathrooms were huge with jacuzzi tub with waterfall. Great pool and resort just looks so awesome at night.

We stayed here in the 2 bedroom villa. The villa was great, very clean, lovely decor and extremely spacious. Whilst there is not a wardrobe in both rooms, there is a hanging rail with lots of hangers.

The resort has a great swimming pool within a very quiet, tranquil location. The free bikes allow you to explore the area.

The staff are very helpful although at times communication is a little tricky, but that is not their fault.

Lots of previous reviews have commented on getting into the city. We never experienced any trouble. The resort puts on a free transfer into town, and you can arrange a time for them to pick you up (and we never experienced any problems with tuk tusk or taxis bringing us back to the hotel, it was more about bartering on the price).

The hotel provides free transfers to the airport which is a nice touch.

Hi this is a nice villa with large rooms, silent and good swimmingpool. It's pretty. The kitchen is useful. They have free bicycles to go to the city. The staff is friendly.
A bit less good is the Internet, one has to log in time and again as soon as you stop going online, even if only for 5 minutes. But the Internet access is for free.

The place is really far from town, it takes about 15 minutes drive. Most importantly, many tuk tuk refuse services!!!

The villa upgraded our room to two connecting rooms whereas we originally booked one room with an extra bed. The rooms were spacious but no seating furniture or wardrobe inside. The walls were not soundproof that u easily heard the noise from next door. The most terrible thing was that we found crocoach in the bathroom !!!!!

The staff of the villa is very nice and sincere to help, but some of them are inexperienced.

Overall, i would prefer staying closer to the towm next time.
