“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Read your reviews and was determined to search for it although the taxi drivers were not very keen to take us there as they mentioned long distance and traffic jams. Finally managed to persuade a driver to take me there. It was quite a distance and the driver had difficulty finding it but after stopping to ask for directions we managed to locate the Restaurant.
One of the Senior service staff communicates well in English and her recommendations were helpful to our group of four and we had an excellent meal. The price was not cheap but it was good value for the Baht3700 bill.
Would strongly recommend this Restaurant to all seafood lovers .

“Unforgettable experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

This is really a great restaurant. I went three times during my stay in Chiang Mai, and every time food quality and variety have been simply great. Service too is extremely professional and attentif. Considering the quality and the quantity of the food prices are definety low, An unforgettable experience

“Some of the best Seafood in the North”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Tajine is one of our favorites We have been going there for the last 4 years on a regular basis during our winter visits to Chiang Mai. Excellent is the best I can do it s just great. besides the correct seasonings they really know how to cook or lets say not over cook their seafood. We love the Pat pong Garee with Crab or Squid, the grilled oysters, shrimp, scallops are wonderful as are the fresh fish. Service is great and the setting is upscale Thai all the way. Whether you are in the garden, on the porch or in the Ac inside it is a truly wonderful experience. You can pich much of your meal from teh ice out front and they will cook it any way you want or suggest the best way to cook it. Many dishes are sold by the KG, so be sure to ask the price. Shrimp can come 2-3 or4 to a KG. All the seafood is very fresh. It is not inexpensive but if you are looking for the best seafood in town make it out to Tajene Chomchan. Just of Super hiway near Wat Ched Yod, Chaing Pueck.
Enjoy!

“Well worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2012

We have now been to this restaurant about six times in total and it is consistently good. To get here, you'll need to get a taxi as it is not in the centre of town, but it's well worth the trip. The restaurant is full of locals which is always a good sign and the seafood is very fresh. I would recommend the softshell crabs with curry powder and also the barbequed prawns. All in all a fantastic restaurant.
