“Ning we love you!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014

What a wonderful day!! Ning was the best host we ever could have asked for explaining everything with her perfect English and in depth knowledge of the food.

I loved making the curry paste the most and of course being able to eat EVERYTHING after - and wow do they feed you! So much amazing food! I love the variety of the dishes we made and that we had a choice but still got to try others.

Friendly staff and such a modern, clean and authentic place. Thank you so much for one of my best days in Thailand Ning, I shall be recommending this school to all my friends.

“Delicious day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014

We were picked up in a songthaew and started the day with a visit to a local market out of town where "Tulian" our instructor showed us the key ingredients for Thai cooking. We then arrived at the Thai Farm Cooking School where we saw how the herbs were grown.

We selected 4 dishes and a dessert to cook, including making our own curry pastes. If there is more than one of you, I recommend you each pick a different dish to share and taste.

The ingredients are pre-selected and presented on a tray for each dish, so you only need to cut and chop. There were 9 of us on the day, and we were all in a single kitchen which was very open so it did not get too hot.

There are lovely lotus ponds around, and it is a great way to see the country side and sharpen your cooking skills. People are very friendly, and you get to take your food home as well as a recipe book. Tip to the publisher - green print on green paper makes it hard to read!

Nonetheless, it is delicious day out not to be missed!

A comfort tip: if it is a hot day, bring a towel to protect yourself on the songthaew trip back as the sun and the traffic fumes can be overwhelming.

“Wery well organized day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

It was fun to learn cook thai food in a lovely environment (on the country side) and to get all those useful tips in the kitchen as well as on the market where we stopped before coming to farm. The instructor Jenny was very warm and professional, all the assistants made the cooking much easier and the food turned out excellent :) And once again - everything was so well organized and ran like clockwork.

“Great food and location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

We had a lovely day and cooked lots of yummy food! The organic farm is cool and gives you the opportunity to try lots of different things that they are growing.

The only down side was that some of the time we didn't really know what was going on - the instructions were not as clear as they could of been and it felt a bit like we were copying what the teachers were saying rather than actually learning how to do it (however this may have just been relevant to our teacher)

It was definitely worth it (lots of food and cook book) and I would still choose this company over another because of the organic farm experience!

“Great experience: fun, interesting and tasty!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

I live in Chiang Mai. I always take my guests to this cooking school out in the countryside. It is a beautiful, peaceful location with rustic wooden buildings and great staff that speak English well. This is truly a beautiful location and experience. You get to cook some incredible dishes and of course EAT them around the table with your fellow classmates, great camaraderie and fun. You also get to go to an authentic Thai market first thing in the morning and they tell you all about it and let you look around, cool!
