This was a very nice little hotel. It is located within the walls of the old city and easy walking distance to the Walking Street markets on saturday and sunday which is a MUST do. It can be crowded but excellent quality of goods! I would steer clear of buying from the night bazaar, I found the quality wasn't as good as the saturday and sunday markets. If you want to see where the locals buy it is from the weekend markets. There are no locals at the night bazaar, it getting a tuktuk or red taxi from there is VERY expensive.
The hotel staff are very helpful with regards to travel arrangements and helpful hints, however they often quoted quite high prices for the red taxi's.
I am travelling with my friend and we stayed in a twin room located on the bottom floor so it was often noisy in the morning when people where starting to go to breakfast. The bathroom was fine, with either a hand held shower hose or raindrop shower head in the shower. The room itself was on the smaller side, however we were only in here to sleep so it was fine!
Breakfast was simple but filling! Eggs (scrambled, fried) toast, ham and sausage (actually a frankfurt) tea/coffee and freshly squeezed juice! The juice was amazing, they would often change the juice each day which was refreshing.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again as it was within easy distance of all attractions and was clean and well maintained.
