“Home food away from home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

Definitely one of the best italian meals I had in general and surely the best in Chiang Mai. Actually I was never so lucky even in Bangkok. After months in Asia I could taste the fine cuisine of Rome, the portions are insanely generous, the quality is clearly the result of a strict selection because I rarely had such beef in Thailand. It's yummy! if you are in Chiang Mai that's where an italian should go when homesick. And at the end of the meal the prices leave your good mood intact.

“Pantomime”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

The chef, and I assume the owner, gave us a demonstration on pasta at the table. Some people my like this! But for me it was giving me a lesson I don't need!, and interfering with the time i had with my family and friends. The tomato and mozzarella salad was poor, I can only think if the chef was in the kitchen and not at my table we my have got a better One! The pasta dish, and pizza was good tho, so no problem there. The wine was great but very expensive, even tho he discounted it because we had two. We was told it was the best in town? So I think our expectations were high.

“Fine Italian cusine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

Really great Italan cusine, large choice of typical italian dishes, served with professional approach, and suggestions.
Very good mannered staff, and really experienced owner's place (which is an Italian Gentleman), a touch of real Italy in Chiang Mai. It really worths the while
Very very good!

“Do you want just Dinner or do you want real authentic Italian Dining?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

Yes there is a difference between just eating and actually dining. From the moment you walk through the door your keen eyes will realize that this is someplace special. This wonderful Italian establishment is spotlessly clean and meticulously prepared to pamper its guests. Welcome to Italy and the environment which has been home to this World Acclaimed 70 plus year old Master Chef for over the past 20 years. Here you will truly find an artist and Master at work performing the duties of his Craft. You will be individually pampered by him as he prepares and serves you all the while directing his staff to pay attention to the details of your dining experience that are often overlooked. The more you test his talents the more he rewards you as he brings forth his magical preparations of sights, flavors, aromas, and palette pleasing pleasures that are nothing less than an expression of love (Amore') which he masterfully bestows upon his guests. If you are looking for or have a desire to experience what the art of fine dining is all about then it is recommended that you invest your time and indulge yourself here. The rewards returned to you by this man and his staff for your investment will simply amaze you.

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013 via mobile

We had a fantastic meal here. The owner/chef, Angelo, made us very welcome, chatting, joking and also demonstrating some of the special dishes for the evening. We had pizza bread, Parma ham and melon and beef carpaccio for starters, and then pasta with Vongole and pasta amatriciana for mains. Be warned, the mains are delivered on enormous plates which make the food look like it's enough for four! In fact it's quite manageable (well we thought so anyway!) For dessert we had tiramisu and profiteroles - these were fantastic but they did beat us, unfortunately. Chef treated us to a couple of glasses of his home made limoncello to finish, and we rolled out very happy. Definitely a "must visit" restaurant.
