“Must visit for Thai cooking class!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

We had an amazing time with Oriental Cuisine and WaWah is an excellent host and cook. We made all 6 dishes which was fun to do and very lovely to eat. The place is professional, clean and very comfortable for cooking.

You will also be picked up from your hotel at no extra costs and we first visited the local market where we got to know a little bit more about the ingredients for Thai cooking.

If you want to cook Thai I can recommend this for everyone.

“One the Best Cooking Schools Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

I have attended about 20 cooking schools over a decade, many of which have been in SE Asia. I was so impressed with the first day at Oriental Cuisine that I immediately booked two more days. The chef is very knowledgeable and patient, and easily instructs a student whether they have minimal or extensive cooking experience. There were many oohs and ahs around the table as we ate the food we prepared each and every day. Part of the professionalism shows in the cookbook you receive at the end of the class. Over the years I have a collection of individual sheets of paper, mimeographed pages stapled together, etc. This is by far the nicest cookbook of them all.

“One of the best parts of our Thailand trip!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

The Thai food we cooked was some of the best food we ate on the whole trip! Our instructor was awesome, very nice and fun! Only 6 people in the group, so we had plenty of 1-on-1 time. We were taken in the morning to look around at a market. Learned many interesting facts about Thai foods and spices. We did a full day and the instructor helped us learn to make each of the dishes. Loved eating all of them! :D Definitely recommend this place!!

“A "must do" in Chiang Mai!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Thai food cooked in the traditional way, made fun and simple by our great instructor Wawah!! We were a comfortable group of 6, so the instructor was able to give us special attention, answered all our questions and even gave us interesting bits about the Thai way of cooking. I highly recommend that visitors to Chiang Mai include cooking lessons from this school as part of their itinerary. Delicious!!!

“100% Recommended, Highlight of our trip so far!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013 via mobile

As all the other reviewers have said, Wawah is fantastic, very knowledgable on an array of topics and willing to teach you about Thai culture, customs and religion. The food was amazing, we couldn't eat it all so Wawah packed it up for us to take on our bus trip to Lampang later that day. We were very lucky to only be in a class with one other person so it was a very personal class. Not a single bad thing to say, from start to finish this was a fantastic day!
