“Cute, little boutique hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

We stayed 6 nights on our honeymoon in The Rim and absolutely enjoyed that place. The rooms are big and clean. The stuff is super friendly and will go the extra mile to help you. The food in the restaurant is quite good too. The traditional design has a very nice, unique atmosphere. Definitely would recommend it.

The was an exquisite hotel in Chiang Mai, offered through Exotissimo Tours. The staff went the extra mile to make sure guests had every need met. The lobby is overpowering with huge teak pillars, similar to those used in wats. Our room overlooked a pool and had a small balcony. The beds were comfortable; the bathroom was unique in that there were sliding doors that opened into the bedroom as well as a full door that opened from a foyer. The room was spacious with ample closet space. The hotel has several different levels....fun to explore. The dining room was fairly small but served a nice breakfast buffet. Although the hotel is on a main street, there is a wall that separates them which gives the feeling of being apart from the bustle of the city. There is much to see just by walking.

This is a charming small boutique hotel on the edge of Chiang Mai. The rooms are spacious, well designed and very clean and the service is excellent. We liked it so much we even returned on the same trip. The breakfast buffet is superb and the restaurant pretty good too. The reception desk staff and their recommendations were very helpful. The only downside I can think of is the gym which is more of an empty room than a gym.

Nice hotel about 20 mins away from the Chiang Mai airport and right on the west edge of the old town. Within walking distance to a number of temples and the chiang mai "walking street" in the old town area.

Good service, and friendly staff. Breakfast was included and is decent, but a little limited in choice. Didnt try lunch or dinner.

Pool is quite small and seemed to be more like a central display than really being of practical use. Didnt see anyone swimming in the pool, but there were a few people lounging around it. Same goes for the gym - too small and limited equipment.

Rooms are nice, and the rate on agoda was good.

This hotel is a Boutique hotel..It has free breakfast which is awesome , it is always good to wake up and not worry about where to start your day. The rooms are beautiful and clean again the beds are hard but so we found is the normal for Thailand. The front desk staff are wonderful they even helped me purchase food for the monks and showed me where to go! Going above and beyond is The Rims way and it puts them at the high part of my Chart! The one and only complaint that I have and I am sorry for this but I feel it is worth stating... Your pool looks wonderful and that is great for photos and massages but "no matter how lovely it looks it is ICE COLD" so no one can go in it... this is a waste and I hope to return to enjoy a swim but not if you do not heat it.. With that said this Hotel is a gem and the Staff make it a wonderful place to return to. we paid $35.00 nite canadian.. I learned that just because the price is low you should not pass by Because this hotel is an easy one to return to and I also need to mention that the inhouse resturant has the best dinner as well as breakfast food in town! Thank you all for a wonderful stay! Again I would like to send a Loud Thank-you kop poon kaaa to the female staff at the front desk that took me to the Monks I will treasure that forever! xx

Room Tip: Every room is a good room here but ours backed onto the pool and that made for very relaxing sounds...

This is a small, peaceful, garden style hotel set among lush vegetation in the middle of a busy city. The big shade trees, winding pathways and low buildings create a relaxing ambiance. My room had lots of wood furnishings and door frames that created an old style atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the dining area intimate and calm. As others have pointed out, the only drawback is the location which is adjacent to the moat and old city but a bit of a walk to the night market. It's not a big deal, however, as walking in Chiang Mai can be quite pleasant if the weather is nice. The hotel is upscale and a good place to spend a few nights.

Ive stayed in this boutique hotel several times and it just keeps getting better until my partner and I decided to make this as the place to put out guests during our 4 day wedding celebration in Chiang Mai back in November 2011. Out guests enjoyed staying here and the staff were helpful and accommodating to every single request we ask to make our wedding party special. Food is very good especially in the Thai menu. Rooms are spacious and also this place is a good value for your $$$$. Our room was upgraded to their biggest suite which I think we were the first one to use them. Nice little lounge area in the pool side where u can just relax or dip in the water. The design is very Lanna but not over the top. Highly recommended place and for sure I will be back once again here soon!

Room Tip: try to get the biggest suite they have..its a treat without putting a hole in your pocket.
