Sitting outside on the decks lit by lanterns in the trees, overlooking the river is the reason for going to Deck 1. Inside is over lit and lacks atmosphere.
I enjoyed Deck 1, but think that was more about the setting, decor and presentation than the food. This restaurant feels very stylish and upmarket, and the presentation of the food is in keeping with this. The food itself is fine, but nothing particularly special. However, Deck 1 has a good wine list. House wine (Chilean) is 650 Baht (£15).
Service is a little odd - quite formal yet not very attentive. Our wine was poured regularly, but we waited ages to order drinks, and after asking for a pause before ordering desert, they never came back.
Bill for 2, 2 course, 2 cocktails and a. Bottle of house wine was 2100 Baht (approx £50).
Worth going to for a slightly nicer dining experience without breaking the bank.
