“Been twice, both times nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

Both times we went for lunch and shared a pepperoni pizza. We sat in the garden part which has nice plants and flowering orchids. They serve wine (not something you can get everywhere) and beer and the prices are reasonable. The pizza was tasty on both occasions and was cooked in their own wood oven. The service is fine and the bathrooms are really clean.

“*-Mucha variedad, mismo sabor-*”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

Italian restaurant with an extensive menu of Italian food, included a selection of several pizzas. Although I anticipate you that it does not matter because all choose pizza taste the same, cheese and tomatoes, but could eventually enjoy the essence of the main ingredient of your pizza. They are good but they are nothing special and the price of them, about 210 Baht, which is expensive.

Undoubtedly, the most damaging to this restaurant is its staff, unprofessional and too slow to serve meals. It took us! 1 hour! until the staff served us our pizzas. Our anger was rising every time we watched as customers arriving later than us got their food before us. To this day I still think they missed our pizzas, as the waitress at 45 min. be waiting for them, we look with astonishment and concern face, as if he had forgotten something! our pizzas! and that chance at 15 minutes our pizzas were on the table.

When pizzas arrived, we were hungry, so instead of eating we devoured it, but as I said before, are good, but simple. Do not expect an explosion of flavors.

When we decided to demand a pay off for the delay (we note that in these countries the word refoulement does not understand it, but had to try, had been waiting two pizzas 1 hour), to which she refused while smile, saying that is what it usually takes and if we wanted to invite us to a coffee or tea. We were not in the mood, so we said no, we paid and left. To this day I regret not getting up in time to the table when after taking 30 minutes waiting for food had not arrived.

If I ever return to Chiang Mai in La Villa Pizzeria not repeat, just as I would not advise anyone.

“Absolutely Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

We stumbled on this amazingly authentic pasta and pizza place in the old city of Chaing Mai - a beautiful outdoor seating area, authentic wood first oven, and an Italian owner/chef who old my 12 year old daughter that he "he didn't need the money, he cooked because he loved the food". Every bite tasted like it!

“Excellent Pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2012

WE ate here twice and enjoyed some red wine on our second visit, the manager quickly solved an issue with our order and it did not detract from our dining experience

“Good Italian Food, below average service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2012

I went here several times for Italian, as I'm not a lover of Thai food. The food was great, prices were higher than most places in the area and the service was not great (not friendly at all)
