This is a beautiful restaurant at the bottom end of the night market. We arrived without a reservation after surviving a tropical thunderstorm! Not a problem, we were given the choice of inside or out but chose inside. Shoes off at the entrance and what a lovely wooden floor.
We ate Thai, chicken cashew and chicken massaman, cooked exactly as to the spicy ness choice the waiter had asked us as our preference. This was up with the best tastes we've experienced during three weeks touring in thailand.
We had the "bottom shelf" bottle of cheapwine (625 baht) splashing out on wine as this was our last meal in Chiang Mai before heading home via Bangkok. This was at the waiter's recommendation as the carafe for the same price was only half a bottle but priced as 'top shelf' it was a south african chardonnay and was lovely and the staff could not have been more attentive. The banana dessert was exceptional and we were brought 2 spoons to share the dessert without any quibble.
Overall, great location, lovely staff, delicious food.
Don't understand the previous poor reviews - certainly wasn't our experience - we loved it, we'd recommend it and we'd go back.
