“Just the best !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

Perm has great passion for food then add his unique sense of humor & fun - the day was a highlight of my trip. Starting in the local market with gems of practical food information, then quick drive to Perm's home & explore of his wonderful veggie garden. All this before you hit the kitchen to create dish after delicious dish. Great book to take away and create your own sensational Thai meals. Perfect solo activity

“Excelent food with a personal touch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

Excellent experience,
The day is very well organized but Perm is able to keep that personal "we care" feeling you only get when being hosted by the owner.`

“Great pad Thai in Chiang Mai”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013 via mobile

My sister and I booked this expecting to be part of a small group but the other members cancelled meaning we actually got a private cooking lesson from Perm, the owner.
Perm took us around the market and gave us lots of interesting facts and information - and even the odd joke or two!
The cooking class is quite far out of town so pack some insect repellent as we were eaten alive but even that didn't detract from the fun experience we had while there.
Great class for complete beginners and you even get a lovely recipe book to take home with you!
Thanks Perm :)

“Really enjoyable evening!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

We booked last minute to attend this class and were so glad we did. The chef was really knowledgeable, taking us first round the market to give us some tips on buying food which were actually useful. The chef took us through everything stage by stage, including the vegetable garden in the back yard. The food we cooked was really delicious and we were given a book to take home with us which was great!

“Better than we ever expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

My wife, two of our friends and I decided to take this cooking school at the last minute based on the excellent reviews we read on Trip Advisor.
All of the reviews were "bang on" our instructor and his staff were fun to be with and very informative. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the market fora brief but fun session of education and hands on selection of the food we were about to cook.
A word of caution. This is a pretty full day of buying, traveling to the school, cooking and then returning back to the hotel.
It took from 8:30 in the morning until 3:30 in the after noon.
The cost was 990 Baht or around $33 US.
Great value for the money. You eat what you cook and have tons of fun doing it.
The four off us all agreed we had a great time.
Lots of laughs, good food and fun!
What else can you ask for?
