Had lunch which featured deep fried grouper, Alaskan king crab cooked in garlic and ginger, fried rice and fresh vegetables. Great service.

“Up market suki restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013 via mobile

Among many suki places i know, probably this is the most upmarket place. Big prawns, sophisticated service etc. NICE! But the price is on higher side, we paid 1500bhat without alcohol for two

“Family Restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

Good food. Traditional suki yaki restaurant. Not suitable for family with toddler or baby. Atmosphere is average (just eat and go). Not a place for hang out.

“The Best Roasted Duck I have ever eaten,it was simply fabulous.............”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2011

Located a short distance down Soi 8 very close to the notorious Pat Pong area it is not the easiest restaurant to find jutting out on a corner street surrounded by coffee shops and massage parlours, but it is worth the journey.Simple in functional decor the elaborately carved gilt wood ceiling is the only extravagance portraying Dragons and Phoenix symbolic of Imperial China. The menu is not elaborate and many patrons go for the Hot pot where you buy the freshest ingredients and cook on the table yourself.fish or meat or simply veggies.

Their secret which I had come for was the roasted duck, offered in three sizes,we took the largest portions which is actually ample for four people, totally boneless juicy and cooked to perfection with three dipping sources,a side dish of morning glory with garllic and chillies is a great meal. The duck is consistantly the best I have tasted anywhere in the world, the portions are infact over generous. Marry this with cold beer or fresh fruit juices and you are in for a wonderful experience,I will return again and again for the same dish.

There is an excellent wine list, fresh juices made to order and of course all the usual favourites on the menu, dumplings galore fresh veggies and a variety of quality seafood options, including a very tasty oyster omelette.Prices are exceptionally low and it appears they cater for a regular local clientele rather than tourists, but it is well worth the visit, spotlessly clean and the service is excellent.
