We were looking for Gedwaha at the next street at 35 but the Restuarant was closed on Sunday. We discover this Restuarant by chance. It's was a nice find.. The Japanese ramen texture is very nice. It's nicely done and not overly cook. The waitress doesn't really speaks English but they manage to get one English speaking waitress to serve us. The price is reasonable. The tempura prawn is nicely done. Crispy outside and juicy inside. The Crispy Karage chicken is also very nice.
For the ramen. If you don't like too much fat in the pork slice, do let the waitress know that you want lean meat. As for the ramen soup, if you prefer light and not too strong taste, go for Shoyu (Soya sauce ramen), the tonkatsu ramen soup is pork soup base.. Which has a strong pork taste. I like the pork base soup so tonkatsu is my favourite. The Tan Tan ramen is sesame soup base. It's mince meat with strong sesame taste. It's also the Restuarant popular ramen. There are a lot of Japanese customer in this Restuarant. Some of them just eat and enjoy a book. There is a shelve of Japanese comic books in the Restuarant for customer to pick and read while enjoying a meal.
Overall we enjoy our visit here. Yes the kitchen has 6 staff! We sat beside the kitchen and can see the chef cook! There also a nice Japanese bakery further down the same street. Do go and try their bread too!!
