My husband first went to Lemongrass sometime in the late 80s and went again sometime in the early 90s. We went there together in 2001. Now we've been back again, and we feel our experiences with the food have been consistent--Lemongrass is tasty Thai.
They still have the same menus they had then, as is proved by the fact that they still list Kloster beer among the choices, though Kloster stopped being produced sometime around 1990. :)
The laarb was spicy and tasty, and their curries are always delicious! The atmosphere is friendly and eclectic with many different types of tables and chairs. Last time we were here, the place was packed with tourists and locals alike, but this time it was a bit empty, with only a few tourists and expats. Not sure why the big difference, as flavor-wise they were just as good as I remember. If we visit Bangkok again in another ten years, we'll definitely have to pay a visit to our "regular" hangout.
