From the moment we arrived until we left we were treated like VIP's.
This boutique hotel is in a great position in Bangkok, close to Sukhumvit & Asoke LRT Station.
Front desk staff please take a bow. You look after us so well. Any time we arrived through the main hotel doors one of the front desk staff would get up from their desk and press the lift button for us so we did not wait long for the lift to arrive.
We called from our room to ask where to buy a phone SIM card and front desk had one delivered to us within one minute and it was free with enough load to make a text message overseas. So family knew our phone number and could call us even before before we topped up the load.
Upon check in we were offered at a very reasonable price their daily buffet breakfast, we decided to give it a try and were very impressed at the range and quality of this buffet breakfast, can highly recommend this buffet breakfast with quality coffee.
Our room was spacious, with a lot of light and a very well presented bathroom.
Check out was handled so professionally and in such a friendly manner, again, we were made to feel like VIP's.
We travel to Bangkok very year and we have now found our home in Bangkok at the Park Plaza Sukhumvit.

After the first time we stayed here 2 years ago we couldn't wait to come back! We've now stayed twice and cannot say enough about this establishment. Staff are amazing, from the cleaners to the front desk to the restaurant staff they couldn't be more helpful, professional or welcoming. The rooftop pool is great, it's on the 15th floor and isn't obstructed by anything else so you have awesome views all over Sukhumvit.

Location is also fantastic, less than five minutes walk to Terminal 21 (a modern indoor shopping mall stocking apparel other than your usual Thai market stuff, but still at reasonable prices) and Asok Station which is a BTS and MRT stop - very handy! We also love Nana area, it's 20 minutes walk or 2 sky train stops away, look for a little pocket of restaurants including Mexican, fish n chips and one with Spanish tapas - they're all good!

We really enjoyed the breakfast every morning, they give you an espresso coffee of your choice and there's a pretty broad spectrum of food to choose from, including hot or cold, custom eggs and omelettes, fried or healthy, Asian or Western, and extra things like home made preserves and fresh honeycomb! The restaurant also serves Thai and Italian at other mealtimes and we love that too, but it is slightly expensive for Bangkok.

While we couldn't be happier with Park Plaza because of all the above, there is one huge draw card that ensures we will always be back: the rooms. Enormous, plush bed with luxury linens, modern surroundings with added touches like a built in international electrical socket and plenty of English cable channels, and don't even get me started on the rain shower (I could live in that thing)!

Thank you Park Plaza for two perfect stays. We can't wait to come back, and we might give your sister hotel up the road a try next time! :)

The hotel is 2 minutes walk from Asok station. It's very easy to use Bangkok public transport and I would highly recommend it as there's always traffic in this city. We took the taxi there from the airport to the hotel but this took just under an hour and with airport surcharge and the tolls cost 700 baht. We took the BTS and then the airport link back and this took the same amount of time but was a fraction of the cost (30 baht p.p to Phaya Thai then 45 baht p.p on the City Line to the airport - there's also an express line which costs 150 baht p.p http://bangkokairporttrain.com/)

The hotel is near a little market engineered towards tourists. It's basically a long street on one side filled with market stalls in the evening. Some of the sellers there are deaf - although they will overprice the goods and you need to bargain with them, I'll admit that I only bargained aggressively with the non-deaf sellers. At night, the area becomes quite seedy.

The hotel is also near Terminal 21- which is a shopping centre attached to the Asok skytrain station.

The staff are friendly and wifi is good. The room itself is nice, but is slightly small. Also, they have glass screens for the bathroom so that you can see into it from the bedroom. I didn't realise that there was a roll-down screen for the first day and manually covered it up using dressing gowns, towels and cushions! The maid must have laughed so much - but they helpfully pulled down the screen for us when the cleaned the room the following day!

This is a lovely smaller hotel. Staff is pleasant, rooms are lovely and food is good in their restaurant. Wi-fi is free in rooms and beds are inviting and comfortable. Bathrooms are great! Would highly recommend this hotel.
