“better than average italian in bangkok but...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

The restaurant came well recommended but I found it was average at best if you really know and like italian, but in comparison to other bangkok places it was a bit above average. The service was so-so...had to wait and actively wave down service staff when something needed. The food was okay. We tried several dishes...the meat lasagne was a disappointment, the baked cheese/spinach was good, the spaghetti bolognese acceptable, the tuna linguine okay...all in all just average. The price wasn't bad - others in bkk charge alot more for less. The restaurant is a bit out of the way to get to, but if you want a casual atmosphere and not really high expectations, then it is okay for family, friends.

“Nice atmosphere and lovely pizzas!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Restaurant was full when we arrived but it took only 10 min to got table (we didn have reservation). Staff were friendly and they speak english. Althought the place was full, it does not take so long to get pizzas. And pizzas were delicious! Also wine of the house was better than usually. You can eat inside or outside.

“Pasta dishes are very good, the rest is not.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

The pasta dishes are good and they are uniquely cooked. They are served in a clay pot with a dough-top which the waiter cuts for you when its served. Then you can use the bread for dipping in your pasta sauce. Carbonara is very good.

I have had thai company with me at every visit this place and they all say that the thai food served is only so-so, bordering to not-ok and they have sent food back into the kitchen twice.

Tried pork chops at one occassion and they were completely dry.

They make a fantastic Long Island cocktail but a horrible Mojito. Atmosphere is quite nice and you will not guess you are dining right next to one of Bangkok's most trafficated roads.

I recommend for the pastas.
