“Closest you can get to Switzerland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

My job require me to travel all around south-east asia, and being Swiss, the only thing I miss from home is cheese. So when my colleague told me that I would be able to find a good fondue in BKK I could not stand and had to try it out.
What to say except that Chesa is probably the closest and most similar food to Switzerland you would get in this part of the world. I only tried the "Moitier-Moitier" fondue and a bottle of "Fendant" but as "Vaudoix" myself, I could not be happier.

Thank you.

“Enjoyable late (liquid) lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013 via mobile

Met up with a couple of friends for lunch and drinks at this legendary Swiss eatery in the heart of the Sukhumvit area. It wasn't particularly busy and the service was attentive and charming. The food was quick and portions generous. In particular the mixed platter of Swiss appetizers was great accompanied by cold German beers. The Wiener Schnitzel was juicy but almost, just almost, a tad too greasy. But then that's not a Swiss speciality. Will be back.

“Good food overall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

We went to Chesa on monday night, the place was almost empty, and that is sad because food is quite good.We had 2 starters ,one very tasty beef tartare and 1 huge assorted appetizer for 2 person,1 main and 1 fondue.
Price is not cheap but overall quality was good.

“A real Treat away from Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

I love the atmosphere and the authenticity of the menu, the products used and the attitude of the team. The Speisekarte offers a great variety of traditional Swiss dishes, including the various varieties of Fondue. One may say that the prices are a little on the high side, at the same time one has to pay appropriately for good quality and impeccable service. The chefs do an excellent job in making all visitors welcome to the best Swiss Restaurant in Bangkok!
